Too late. If they dump Trump, it'll split the party which will impact future elections (at least in short term). Do they have the balls to push through that? I don't think so.

They really are in trouble I think. If they follow this path they are going to lose the middle of their party. People like my lifelong Republican father who voted Dem for the first time in his life, or people who just refrain from voting. Georgia has shown that this will cost them elections. Can I just say that I really enjoy Gabe Sterling. He may be a republican, but he may hate Trump more than I do. His distain is awesome.

Not all of the GOP has capitulated to Trump. And never-Trump republican voters will either abstain from voting or switch to the Dems.
The long-term future of the GOP is at stake here. If they follow Trump down the rabbit hole they'll be out of office for a generation.
