Because of where the outstanding ballots are. Most of the outstanding ballots are in urban or majority Black parts of Georgia. Those will break heavily for Warnock and Ossoff.
Because outstanding vote is mainly in Atlanta metro area. And mathematical modelling of that from NYT and others suggests it will be more than enough for them to overcome the current deficits.
The votes still to come in are expected to heavily favour the Dems. A lot of Atlanta metro is still to report where it's expected to favour the Dems roughly 85-15

Just like the GE, the outstanding votes are mainly in heavily Dem areas.
As long as the projections are accurate then it should be comfortable enough.
In November, Dekalb gave Ossoff something like a 230k margin. It's only at 80k there for him right now with most of the votes outstanding. That should wipe out the deficit and give him a sizable lead.
It’s the political equivalent of a late, soft penalty against the dippers.

We're at the point where nothing really happens until Dekalb reports their votes. It looks like Dems will take both races, but we'll know for sure when we get Dekalb... until then none of the networks can call anything.
Wow, Stacey Abrams has done a fantastic job. First the GE and now the Senate (provided the dems win the two races).

Maybe. As governor she could have helped save lives with COVID and worked on voting rights. As long as her .org hummed along then this all hopefully still would have happened.
