Unless something major happens she absolutely will. Not even taking into account her qualifications, it would be an complete betrayal of the demographic, African American woman, who paved the path to Biden's election.

Ha, yea same, it’s interesting though.

The intent behind the 12th amendment wouldn’t factor in term limits though, which didn’t exist until a long time after.

He literally beat that machine with the crazies in 2016, as a political nobody.

The crazies ARE the majority, they were emboldened by him and are all in on him. They elected Qanon believers to Congress, this election. Don’t hold any illusion about returning to normal when he’s out of office. Trumpism is the new normal.

I think it makes the transition awfully complicated in terms of practical things. But other than that, his term is over at noon on Jan 19th and then either the person elected by the Electoral College takes oath and now holds the office, or the Speaker of the House does and that is Nancy Pelosi. It would fall to some agency of government to remove him from the White House, no one knows if that would be the Secret Service (would be my guess), the FBI, or somehow someone else (but not the military).

No, @Siorac is overstating Austin’s importance (and size) methinks. It is the increasing urbanization of the state via the Texas Triangle overall that will turn Texas blue. Though relying on Dallas and Houston to save our future is not much more comforting.

Trump will never concede at any stage. Even on the inauguration day for Biden in January, he will not concede. He will simply leave the Whitehouse (or else be escorted out) and continue to stoke the fires of civil war.
