There is certainly some truth in that though. Based on what people try to build in general.

Yeah, quite suspicious after the latest round. Basically, had to pick my own sheep. Which got blocked. :lol:

Goes in cycles really. Drafts aren't exempt from having flavours of the month and all. A bit before every man and his dog was coming with 5-3-2s. Large volumes of teams initially went with 4-2-3-1s etc. If tomorrow City happen to lose in CL while having 80% possession and no output, the next draft manager coming up with a possession setup will struggle for votes. So just thought currently there seems to be a demand of possession style based players.

My previous side was as direct as they come and built around Maradona. But this one has a different theme that doesn't require a #10 (quite an obvious one though :)).

Yeah, it does have effect. Although, I'm really glad that people moved away a bit from 5-3-2 formula as of late.

I had a fair amount of options for my link players, but when I read the story that in 2002 Toninho arrived back at Roma with his Japanese team he was managing and wore a TOTTI 10 jersey then it was really easy to decide after that

Not sure what the complaining is about, the plan was done originally as it was intended. Nothing was switched to accommodate sheep and what not.

I didn’t go for Maradona because I thought it’s a waste of a pick given everyone will go for it.. Same with Cruyff..

Actually thought the same thing for Round 2 and didn’t go for Lothar.. harms got a free pass there
