It was a protest vote that'll prove to be misguided. This will be the last generation that believes in American Exceptionalism, and I think that will be a good thing.
It's one of the most ironic things in world politics really, how the poor and poorly educated Americans always seem to vote conservative. These are the same people who protested "Obama care" because hell if they wanted any "communist healthcare".
