  1. Shyftyy PTSTSL 9-3
  2. ArmchairCritic RobinLFC 8-4
  3. JP77 8-4
  4. RedIceland 8-4
  5. Edgar Roman 8-4
  6. Man Of Leisure Sylar 7-5
  7. Anderson's Cat 7-5

Shyftyy will play Armchair Robin next week for the #1 seed. Shyftyy is guaranteed a playoff spot but Armchair Critic and RobinLFC could fall out of the playoffs entirely.

JP77 and RedIceland are playing for a possible first round bye or possibly missing the playoffs altogether.

Edgar Roman and Anderson's Cat should have easy wins and Man of Leisure Sylar will be favored as well.

@RussellWilson best to bring Lacy back into your lineup for the week 13 fixtures.

@gormless check the market for somebody to come in as your flex in your week 13 fixture.

@RedIceland quite a few changes you need to make. I recommend starting Bradford at QB in week 13. Rest quite a few other players too, it's important to keep them fit going forward.

Alright so let's look at an example to illustrate the tiebreak procedure.

Shyffty beats Amrchair RobinLFC
JP77 beats RedIceland
Edgar beats Gormless
Anderson's Cat beats Joemo
Man Of Leisure beats Russell Wilson

leaving us with

Shyffty 10-3
Armchair 8-5
JP 9-4
Iceland 8-5
Edgar 9-4
AC 8-5
MoL 8-5

Shyffty gets the 1 seed and a bye. JP77 gets the 2 seed and a bye by virtue of his week 3 win over Edgar Roman, who get the 3 seed and face the 6 seed.

Leaving us with Armchair Iceland Anderson's Cat and Man Of Leisure at 8-5, 4 teams for only 3 spots.

Anderson's Cat went 2-1 against this group
Man of Leisure went 0-3 against this group
Red Iceland went 2-1 against this group
Armchair Critic went 2-1 against this group.

So this eliminates Man Of Leisure.

Leaving us with AC RI and ACRLFC.

ACRLFC went 1-1 against this smaller mini-group
AC went 1-1 as well
which means so did RI.

So the only way to separate these teams for seeding purposes would be total points scored, which would be Red Iceland - ACRLFC - AC in that order.

Here are the possible permutations:

You should be able to work out your rooting interests based on the tiebreak order. For 2 team ties, head to head is obviously the answer. But for 3 or more, we create mini groups in order to cut down the size of the group. Once we eliminate the group as far as we need / can, total points scored is the tiebreaker.

Both Jp77 and Shyftyy's team face tight competition. Projections leave them with less than 5pt leads. Will be a cracker of a ending to the fantasy season either way.

Yes, it's fantastic! :) I don't think I'll beat Armchair and Robin next round though to make it even more exciting. His team is stronger than mine I believe but we'll see how it goes.

When it comes to all these tie-breakers I trust @Eboue . I see far too many excel sheets at work to check them in my free time as well :)

It would be so much better for my team if you lose ;) But I think you won't. Armchair/Robin have Wilson facing a solid Vikings secondary and without Graham. Peterson maybe a wildcard, but I'm sure Seahawks will have a dedicated plan to contain him.

I am really not convinced. Overall you have the strongest starting line-up but you may miss Gronk for one week. We'll see, it'll be exciting :)

Our 0-3 start really hurts if you look at the grand scheme of things now, but I'd be pretty gutted if we miss the playoffs at this point. No better way to qualify than beating the league leader, don't you agree @Shyftyy? ;)

If you manage to lose to me, you'll have done something that is harder to achieve than winning:)

@Eboue if we're basing it on H2H doesn't that mean I'm guranteed a playoff spot no matter what? AC can only match my record now and I top him in H2H and pretty much everything else, which would mean it'd be impossible for him to overtake me?

I would have to run the scenarios but there are complications with multi team ties.

Assuming Man Of Leisure / Sylar doesn't make up 50 points, this is the situation

4 teams tied at 9-4:

@Shyffty PTSTSL
@ArmchairCritic @RobinLFC
@JP77
@Edgar Allan Pillow @Roman Bellic

and @RedIceland at 8-5, who will be the 5th seed

Shyffty lost to JP Edgar Roman and AC Robin - 0-3 in the minigroup
JP beat all three - 3-0 in the minigroup

Those are your 4 and 1 seeds. Leaving Edgar Roman and Armchair Robin as 3 and 2 by virtue of a 2 point loss/win in week 9.

  1. JP77
  2. ArmchairCritic / RobinLFC
  3. Edgar Allen Pillow / Roman Bellic
  4. Shyftty / PTSTSL
  5. RedIceland
  6. Anderson's Cat

Week 14 - JP and Armchair will have byes

Edgar Roman will face AC
Shyftty PTSTSL will face RedIceland

Just football next week then without having to worry about fantasy points, will be nice for a change :D

@Shyftyy it was a close game though, I really thought you had us after Peterson scored 2.40 and Thomas/Amendola caught early TDs. Praise the lord for Wilson bailing us out two weeks in a row with awesome performances.

Yes, it was. I never thought I was going to win (ref. previous posts) but it was closer than I expected. What a performance by Wilson. Well done to him and you.

Muyst say, the Rams defense is completely failing recently.

Luck? We lost the bye by freaking 1.84 pts!

It might cost you too considering you're up against AC, unlucky mate

Our kicker scored 16 points that game  But hey, we lost the #1 seed with a mere 3.10 points!

Nah, thought Eboue said it isn't based on points? I'd have taken the number one spot as long as Shyfty didn't win. More points scored and a victory over you (think it's based on head to head).

Getting a bye is what counts now and winning it all is what counts later. #1 now is not anyway better than #2.

Missing a bye is a BIG drop for a small margin :(

1 and 2 bye can actually make a difference when you check out the playoff bracket. It's small margins though in most cases. Depends on fixtures as well.

Yeah, no easy games now. But should I be forced to make a tough choice, I'd rather play AC/Shyftyy over you/RedIceland.

Last time we played AC, we lost because both Antonio Brown and Mark Ingram were on bye. Our current team though scored 127 points and had 80+ more points on bench, even with Rivers & Ivory misfiring. So I'm kinda hopeful against AC. Fingers crossed.

We've an interesting decision to make. Both our QB's are playing each other. Philip Rivers vs KCC Defence or Alex Smith vs SDC defence. Whom to pick? Leaning towards Alex as KC def seems to be in a upswing.

I meant that we lost against you with a 3.10 margin. If we did win, we would've been 3-0 in that mini-bracket instead of you, so we would've been the #1 seed (at least that's what I think). I was only joking though, didn't matter to me if we ended up first or second as long as we got the bye.

Chargers offense is heavily reliant on its pass but Rivers has no reliable pass-catchers outside of Gates.. Despite that he has put up some very nice fantasy stats this season so it's a difficult one yeah. Chiefs D are third-worst in the NFL against the pass iirc but they've definitely improved their game since the midway point of the season.

The playoffs get started this week as No. 5-seed RedIceland (8-5, 1,325.32) battles No. 4-seed Shyftyy PTSTSL (9-4, 1,191.98) in a matchup highlighted by a couple of great WRs, with Julio Jones going head-to-head against Demaryius Thomas. Jones is projected to be the No. 4 WR this week and is expected to score 16.10 points, while projected No. 2 WR Thomas is predicted to score 17.00. It's their second meeting of the season, after Shyftyy PTSTSL beat RedIceland, 106.52 to 98.26, in Week 6. According to the initial projections, this matchup could be a toss-up, with RedIceland favored to win by 6.66 points.

@Eboue What are the rules when it comes to selling your soul to the dark lord for a win as @RedIceland has clearly done? :D

@Eboue is the playoff schedule fixed like they're visualized in the brackets, or does JP get the lowest winning seed and we get the highest?
