2012 World Snooker Championships

First mistake made, be surprised if Judd doesn't clean up.

Judd's inexperience at this venue showing here, I still think Carter will struggle to clear this up, it's too loose a pack to open but it's a tight pack to manoeuvre.

Just as I write that he manages to free a couple more.

It was always going to.

Great last frame. Love seeing these angles.

Ali's arse is twitching now! You can't write him off when the balls are spread like that, so many angles to cover.

This is fantastic

EDIT - What a reply that was.

I think Judd might actually take this one. He's been written off and it's huge pressure on Carter now.

There we go, sign of a tight elbow from Carter there.

Ahh shame I was rooting for Judd there.

The people across the road from us own the local snooker club and they were telling us that one of the lads in the club got sick and was given less than a year to live. They wrote to a load of pros looking for them to send something and lots of them did, along with letters etc. but Ali Carter gave them a ring and came across from the UK with a mate of his who's a low-level pro and they played an afternoon of snooker with the guy.

Very decent guy, it seems.

Nice for him to do that.

Opening frame of O'Sullivan - Robertson on now

Both players have been in terrific form in the opening rounds of the tournament. Promises to be a brilliant match

Should be a cracker, can't wait to get home to watch it. They showing the full session on BBC?

Jones is look fantastic here, completely in the Zone and just knocked in a 138 followed by a 132.

Robertson has been absolutely awful this afternoon. O'Sullivans won all 6 so far today, winning 9-5 at the min.

He's missing shots that you'd normally expect him to take. If Ronnie doesn't lose his head he should finish this off in the next session.

Fair play to him. That's me following him now...

Ronnie in raping form, can't see anyone stopping him this tournament, maybe Maguire?

I'd never bet on him to win a tournament like you could Hendry though. It only takes a couple of daft shots and the green to rub against him and we see a different Ronnie, a frustrated figure who starts to implode. That said he's playing like a man possessed. I might even putty a bet on a 147 from him, he's in that mood where he will be looking for one.

I think he's conducted himself very well in this years tournament in terms of his temperament, and when his mind is there, theres hardly anyone that can stop him. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't beat Stevens and get to the final, I reckon it's a O'sullivan - maguire final, repeat of the german masters this year.

I don't like O'Sullivan and I didn't give him much of a chance this year, but he's looking formiddable at the moment. Much like he did in 2008 to be honest.

Steven is as good as gone after another dominating Session by Ronnie, he's unstoppable right now. Carter or Maguire won't stop him with him in this form, unless he stops himself. I think the only players capable of matching him when he's playing like this is Higgins, possibly Trump and Selby. Joy to watch though!

When O'Sullivan's playing like this nobody can stop him. Even his safety play is from another planet.

As you say Bape, the only person capable of stopping him right now is himself. Higgins, Trump or Selby at the top of their game couldn't do it. Pot success of 94%, absolutely absurd. Count myself lucky I managed to 6.4 on him winning after the first round now.
