2010 Masters: Predictions

Tiger, KJ and Westwood all bottled it.

Mickelson was a deserving winner though. Fair play to him. That shot from the trees was exceptional.

Well done Freddy Couples !!!

Get Tiger in the mix with another birdie or 2 and we're talking about quite a Friday on the way.

My pick Anthony Kim isn't too far off either, well chuffed Considering I have money on him for win, top 10 and big money to make the cut which evens out what id lose if he doesnt make top 10.

KNEW I SHOULDA TOOK TOP 3 !!!

Ended up betting $300 and getting a $645 return based on the top 10 and the cut bets, can't complain

Very fitting winner and the scenes at the end were some what ironic. The week started with all the fuss about one man who is a serial cheater, yet the winner is a loyal loving father who would swap everything he has won for the health of his wife.

I completely agree it was like a hollywood script, so cliche

 Cert not loyal, though I agree on the rest.

Would have loved to see Freddy Couples reach the pinnacle too, love the guy since I was a kid.

Hell I wanted Arnie to win that would have been fecking awesome

Nothing in that article about Leftie. Even if he had played away on occasion some guys have open relationships, which Tiger most definitely didn't.

I am confused. Its ok if its out in the open but not be sneaky like Tiger did?

My point is that everyone has flaws including Tiger, Leftie, KJ Choi or Westwood.
To hero worship anyone really reflects more on ourselves than anything else. Therefore, I judge at Tiger based on what he does on the green and not off it.

Malcolm Gladwell mentioned that to get good at anything you need to spend 10,000 hrs at it.

Whether Tiger, Michael Phelps Lance Armstrong etc when you spend more than 10,000 hrs at anything, it will come at a sacrifice -- social skills/life or knowledge when they were young -- when most of us should have gotten that out of our system by then.

So when you have reached the pinnacle of your chosen vocation, you normally want to make-up for that loss -- you certainly can afford to try.

But in really you cant make up for loss time. So its not surprising that many of the "greats" get caught trying to do the time machine travel in going back to sow their wild oats of their adolescence.

Michael Phelps is one of the biggest morons I have ever met.

It supports my point then -- when you spend so much time at anything, to be great at anything, something has got to give.

EQ,IQ or whatever. Whether they are billionaires, legendary sports person etc. Thats why you have to take it with a grain of salt.

That's not necessarily true for all people, something doesnt have to go, something does usually go though, so you do have a valid point.

we are not talking about all people -- some of the high achievers like Tiger, Bill Gates, etc... we all have only 24hrs in a day. If you need to be great at anything, you need to sacrifice 10,000hrs at it. So something always gives way.

That article reeks of being written by someone who has never played golf. She describes caddies as "their bitches" and reaches for sexual innuendo at every possible opportunity (oh the golfers are nearly naked in their changing rooms). Even when she's accusing golfers of indescretions she never names names, she doesn't even subtely imply who the golfer is, only broadly asserts that "they're all at it". I've read some deliberately scandalous bullshit in my time but frankly that article blows them all out of the water.

Include pics of your girl in a cheerleaders outfit :smirk:

JK congrats that is awesome though man, what type of WR are you? Deep threat, possession receiver, or Jerry Rice?

Yeah of cours.... o no, actually, no. My eyes only im afraid!

.

So what exactly has leftie done?

And there are couples that have open relationships, or even swing together. Tiger's wife thought she had a loyal dedicated husband and father for her kids.

Personally if I was in his position I wouldn't even date a chick unless she was a bisexual nymphomaniac. The temptations are great so you may as well find a wife that likes to party.

:lol::lol:

I think you should try living in Asia. Your will powers will be tempted to the max.

Problem with bisexual women-- i used to date one for a couple of years... you are measuring up to their G-on-G experiences of 4 hrs type activities. I told her to wake me up when she is done!

How do you know what type of relationships I have been in or I am in now. ;)
