  • Ernie
  • Geoff Ogilvy
  • Ian Poulter
  • Jim Furyk

Am I missing anyone else? Its a real crap shoot this year.

I cant see Tiger winning -- way too rusty and he always has to start strong to have the chance over the weekend.

Geoff Olilvy is my choice and my darkhorse is Anthony Kim.

There are so many players who can win it... You're missing Harrington Mickelson Westwood and even Casey.

I would not bet against Tiger... :)

But I'd love to see Rory Mcroy or the Molinari brothers win it :)

I wouldn't bet against Tiger either. I'd like to see Mickelson win it though, I've always liked him and his style of play.

I've laid Tiger to finish in the top ten. The guy cannot compete with so little tournament golf in his locker. Saying you wouldn't bet against Tiger is ridiculous, everything is price related - he shouldn't even be favourite.

Lads - I think anyone looking a good long shot could do no wrong with the 200-1 Ryan Moore... Loves fast greens and this is only his first time to play here. Qualified in 2007 but got injured and has had to wait 3 years for a second chance. Been playing well and won already on tour....

200-1 Ryan Moore

Also like Graeme McDowelll. Solid here last year and plays well in majors

180-1 Graeme McDowell

Both would need to be each way

BBC Sport - Golf - Tiger Woods drawn with Matt Kuchar and KJ Choi

Els is the obvious pick being the one on form. Doubt Poulter has the bottle.

Tiger has only won 1 of the last 7 masters so his current price can hardly be regarded as value especially when you take into account whats gone on in his personal life

So I'm going to be on a few e/w outsiders Kenny Perry (100/1), Goosen (25/1) and Steve Stricker (25/1)

What happened to David Duvall? One Open win and he falls of the face of the earth for a few seasons. Too much partying or has some personal issues?

I dont think Ernie will even be in the hunt for the Masters. He has bottled far too much in the big tourneys. Id love to be wrong though!

Yeah he's struggled the last few years but has turned it around recently with two back to back wins on the PGA Tour, including a WGC event which is the next best thing to a major. Wouldn't be surprised to see him challenge again.

Yup two good e/w tips Baz. First timer's usually struggle at Augusta but Ryan Moore played here in 2005 and came T13th as the lowest amateur. Great prospect.

I like G-Mac to be top Uk & Eire again too (like last year). Came T17th and has impressed lately on the PGA Tour. Nice hole in one in the par 3 contest earlier today too!

I'm on Harrington, Stricker, Casey and Furyk. Can't wait!

I am crap (ard. handicap of 23) but that's because I blame my genetics.

Otherwise, I could be a potential seniors tour player.

CPGA standard 14 handicap

Anthony Kim will win it

Its a really good sport. I'm proud I started playing so young, and proud that because i'm a student that I get to play nearly everyday.

Tiger won't win it, he will struggle to make the cut.

I'd look towards Harrington, Antony Kim, Maybe Villegas...

I been playing it on and off for a while now. Still crap despite playing once a week. I used to be able to tonk it a long way -- 250-300m with a lucky roll but had crap short game.

I sort of stopped playing now -- I live in the Far East... its just to fecking hot to be running around chasing a white ball with my name on it. I have had heat stroke a couple of times... almost passing out by the 11th.

Bloody global warming... its fecking up my potential seniors tour debut.

Golf was also an tipping point in terms of maturity -- when I used to get drunk, we used to look for women. But a couple of years ago, we I got drunk with a couple of mates, we bought golf sets instead. Depressing.

^ Do you play through your school?

I played for the University team. But the standard was pretty poor so I never really got that into it. I've played for the Yorkshire boys before I went to Uni, that was fun, and there was some awesome players who I am sure are now of silly handicaps. I however, went to University and for 3 years that was the end of my golf game, Just starting to get back into it again.

I used to play off 9 but quite regularly played below that, once went round my local course in level par; was -1 after 16 too :)

injured my shoulder and discovered alcohol and women and havnt played properly for years.

Well I've backed ( put a hex on ) Lee Westwood

By the way my golf bets havce gone recently, he's got no chance of making the cut

On a side note. I was watching a bit of the Pitch and Putt compition. Did anyone see those 2 ten year old twins holing those puts? Both of them sank long tricky puts with a fair bit of break in them. Brilliant stuff

Wow, what a legend Tom Watson is. Up there once again at 60. Terrible start for my picks though. :(

Couples lips out on 18, probably less than a centimetre away from his birdie which would have been his lowest ever recorded score at Augusta. Shame it didn't drop, magnificent stuff.

Well done Freddy Couples !!!

Get Tiger in the mix with another birdie or 2 and we're talking about quite a Friday on the way.

My pick Anthony Kim isn't too far off either, well chuffed Considering I have money on him for win, top 10 and big money to make the cut which evens out what id lose if he doesnt make top 10.

Take a bow Freddy Couples, brilliant round !

Immelman and Johnson two former winners going along nicely aswell

BTW, Tiger looks terrible in that commercial. Are those the scars from when his wife beat him, or just age taking its toll?

Too many late nights with the women is taking its toll.

Sex addiction is no laughing matter but it keeps the plastic surgeons happy.
