How much longer does this chance last?

Sounds good to me...

I hope this is a long time

So PS game didn't suffer by being played out of position? or being dropped ever though he has constantly been one of you more consistant players?

Veron plays like he has a god given right to walk into your team.

So do I if he can build on his performance from Saturday</strong><hr></blockquote>

Really? You've said in another thread that you'd prefer Keane and Butt to play?

Excellent..

I hope he's not taken off in future after an hour or so if you're looking for a goal tho

AEBM:

The ginger diamond was bad last year cus Veron came and fcked it all up.

Well Fergie bought cus he was free to buy not that we needed him in anyway.

At times Fergie is like a spoilt rich lady who goes round trying to buy anything expensive.

Ive given him ample chance, but he's now at our club for over a year and he's still proven nothing! Am I a bad supporter to expect more from someone who cost 30 million?????
If veron suddenly turns it around and starts performing ill be the first one to hold me hands up and say im wrong!
In fact, when we signed him I thought he'd be brilliant and even said so on here a number times. (ask Stan, he always had his doubts! I even argued with him.)
But Ive been proven wrong so far.........

I do if Sir Alex reckon that will help us win three points, as it did on Saturday

I reckon Sir Alex bought Veron because he thought he could add something to the team, not because he was expensive

I don't think he does at all. If anything, I think he's affected by all the criticism.

So has he been worth the money?

What has he brought to the team you didn't have already or need?

Did he help you last year?

I don't think he suits the style of play over here, he needs to adjust his game rather than have the team pampered round him.

He's brought an ability to lose possession and fling his hands in the air..

and an ability to work round Manc on his own at nights..talking to himself about why he's such a flop..

;)

So far it's not worked out - happens in football</strong><hr></blockquote>

It does..

And its amusing to watch you persevere with him..

Long may it continue

No, has anyone claimed this?</strong><hr></blockquote>

I didn't say they had, however it has to be taken into account.

He gets defended all over the place, but has done little to justify even half that price tag, came in with a big name and big reputation, and too many are blinded by it IMO.

Who's blinded by it?

Plenty of your fans, not all, but a big percentage.

You didn't need Veron when you bought him, and you still don't now.

PS suits the team far better than Veron, gets more goals, and works harder.

Surely you must be able to give us some names..?</strong><hr></blockquote>

I'm not talking specific people here, just a general feeling from peoples views I read, so no finger pointing.

Apart from you of course... ;)

Eric Dobbs from Caernavon in Wales
Paul Hatcliffe from Poole in Dorset
Darren Leason from Hale in Cheshire
Warren Cummings from Luton in Bedfordshire

these do?

I wasn't at the game, but watched it in full last night, and I thought he played well

That may be the case. I just don't agree that he thinks he has a God given right to be in the team.
