18 year old Cristiano Ronaldo signs for Man Utd.

Narcissistic cnut

This thread would look very different if he didn't come back here. He was forgiven for the slave comments but really fecked it for himself by behaving like a spoiled brat again.

From leaning on Sir Alex Ferguson as your mentor to relying on Piers Morgan, what a downfall.

Bet you were all over SoccerPulse absolutely loving it 20 years ago right now.
I actually started the Cristiano Ronaldo Appreciation Party. Or CRAP for short

Fans turned a blind eye on him. After all the crap he pulled off he can be lucky he was not kicked out of Manchester

He’s always been a twat, I never got those who continued singing his name even when banging them in for Madrid.

Will never forgive him getting Rooney sent off ….loathsome winker.

If I stare at his shirt for long enough will I start to see dolphins or something like that?

20 years, feck!!! I was over in Lanzarote when we signed him, had just done my Leaving Cert.

Bitter cnuts out on this thread. Lad was an exceptional player for us, but lets just focus on the negatives

He also made a total show of the club to agitate for Real, then used us for contract negotiations for years, almost joined City and then publicly disrespected the club to get himself fired a 2nd time.

But then I guess those that don't try to work things out after their missus repeatedly shags someone else are "bitter cnuts" yea.

What a signing and what a player. We’d just lost Beckham, missed out and Ronaldinho and pulled the greatest player to ever play for us and one of the greatest to ever play the game out of nowhere.

Ill always remember his debut. The most exciting debut I’ve ever seen. I was there with my boss and his son who was about 10 at the time. The look on his face as Ronaldo dazzled everyone. I knew I’d just seen a player who would go on to be the best in the world.

Unbelievable player, you only have to look at how he got us over the line and made the difference between an excellent team and a truly exceptional team. Three league titles in a row, the European cup, world club champions, two league cups and one FA cup in his time. We haven’t won that much in the 14 years since he left and the shortfall started the minute he left. He was the difference between first and second so often.

I remember being at the millennium stadium in 04, seeing him warming up in gold boots. You just knew what was coming when the game started. Can’t believe it’s been 20 years. Seems like yesterday but what a day that was.

 That was Rooney himself. He was incredibly lucky that the whole nation decided to blame Ronaldo for him (Rooney) stamping on Carvalho’s balls.

Just thinking of the top ten players to play for us, we’ve had some unbelievable players over the years

Ronaldo
Best
Charlton
Edwards
Giggs
Scholes
Robson
Keane
Schmeichel
Cantona

You think the ref made his decision based on Ronaldo pointing at the player on the floor? Not the stamp on the groin

That's highly revisionist. We won 2 of the next 4 leagues, and the two we lost were by one point and on goal difference. We also got to a CL Final in that time, losing to Barcelona, which is where Ronaldo left us in 09.

The shortfall started the minute Sir Alex left.

Ref wasn’t sending Rooney off ‘til Ronaldo threw his handbag

He properly fecked his legacy the knobhead.

Sadly yes I believe he has. Could have just kept his mouth shut for 6 months and still got the same Saudi deal and rode off into the sunset.

Not sure what someone switching employers has to do with someone's wife being unfaithful? Seems pretty unrelated to me.
Like I said he was an exceptional player for the club, that's how I'll remember him. You may choose to dwell on the negative, but you'll not find many players who've had an unblemished United career and 100% everything was positive.

Amazing first spell.... just wish he had never returned and spoiled his legacy at the club. United the club will always be bigger then ANY player.
