He'll make them a serious challenger for the champions league. A hard working, fast and creative player is exactly what they have craved for a while.

Yea I was thinking of that game, he was walking and his hamstring gave up. Watching the video he looks around the ground as if scouring for the exit so he can make a quick get away lol. There was other games last season he just faked injuries or felt hard done by if he got tackled and dispossessed, his heart wasn't in it at all.

Thanks for finding the last game.

I feel bad for anyone who bought an ADM jersey.

I think Falcao was the highest selling jersey last year but I bet a lot of supporters bought di Maria as well, since we haven't had someone fill the #7 for a while.

 is this redcafe?

:p

Well, they're still lacking one when he arrives. He's a whiney little jellyfish.

Let's not judge him solely based on what we have assumed to have happened here.

He is exactly the player I mentioned, and has been for the most of his career at both Madrid and Argentina. He is very pacey, creative and has an excellent work rate; was known as a player who never gave up. He was inconsistent, just like most players of his ilk, when he played out wide for Madrid but was still very productive. Turned out to be revelation when Ancelloti played him on the left of his midfield as a left midfielder/wide player.

PSG are getting themselves a world class player, let's not pretend otherwise just because his signing didn't work out for us.

He's not world class by any stretch of the imagination. He has no backbone, no fight, no desire to confront adversity. A world class player wouldn't have cut and run the way he has when the going got tough, they would have fought to prove themselves.

Don't insult world class players by grouping him with them.

I don't see the point in losing my shit over this guy. He never fit the system, his attitude is still not up to the mark. Instead of tagging him along for the ride, we did the smart thing financially. We cut our losses.

Other than you being upset, why isn't he? He has showed himself in a season to be in the top 3 on the planet and made a big case for the Ballon D'or, can't think of another player thats challenged Messionaldo to the D'or other than Neuer, he is clearly world class on his day, his position/personality and form may be up for his question, but whether he is/was/has been world class isn't.

Funny he's having a medical in Qatar when he's going to be playing in Paris. They really go all out to make their players feel like personal play things to be paraded about to friends and family.

Because during his best season he wasn't the best player in his team. He was excellent but still inferior to Ronaldo and Modric, he was on par with Benzema Bale and Pepe.

Their medical department is at Doha, their injured players also go there.

Not much of a loss too. It's just pocket change for us.

As for di Maria, he is a cnut. A coward. And selling him actually solves a problem for us. No tearing the hair out trying to fit him somewhere. We have a functional midfield now. Enough wingers who actually contribute to the defense too. feck him.

Agreed, not weighing on on personal opinion on the player but we cut our losses and move on.

Some of the abuse is so childish, petty and even nasty. I understand that there are probably some teenagers posting but for fecks sake get a grip. He was only here a season, started well but faded after injury/break in/ van gaal/mentality. So we shelled out 10 odd mil for a potential star and it didn't work out. Onwards and upwards. Que sera sera.

My post was from Singapore Manchester United Fan Club source. Shall get you the finer details later.
As for the cost of sales, that is defo a factor.

Main reason for my post is to appease the many fans that we are not losers from this cnut's antics.

We lost money. It's that simple.

I have no idea why people are going into calculations of loss/profit for him. It is not about financial loss for a club like United when fee we are receiving is close to 65m Euro. Deal with Real Madrid was 75M Euro. If currency fluctuates, it also means that in terms of pounds the deal will be less than 59.7M if United were going to pay in installments to Real Madrid. It also depends on how clubs handle currency fluctuations in such deals. Then we don't know how much of that 59.7 were add-ons/bonus which we need not pay now.

The source of value of the deal is simple google tool currency conversion or such websites, from whatever euro amount french sources quote. Neither the journalists doing so nor most of fans understand how clubs handle these things financially and also how much exact valuation was, what were terms etc. The loss will be at max 10M pounds. It is also possible that it is even less than 5M. Doesn't matter much.

The real loss is a player who has that creativity aspect in him, who can provide the missing 'X factor' but turned out a spineless coward. The amount of financial loss in this deal, if at all any, is not of significant impact to club like United anyway.
