    - 3-5-2 against Yeovil
    - Lindegaard should play and not De Gea
    - Fletcher :nervous:
    - Anderson ahead of Pereira on the bench
    - Januzaj should play and not Rooney :(

    I'm really not happy Louis!!!

3-5-2 is the way all the teams will play if that is how LvG wants to go, which it seems to be.

    Carrick needs protecting hence Fletcher.

Lindegaard is probably on his way, and it's always best to play your best keeper when he's fit imo.

Rooney thrives on games, best to play him especially with a week until the next game.

    Anderson I have no idea!

Go back a year and neither would United's

If you had told me a year ago Falcao would be leading our front line and Juan Mata and Angel Di Maria were on our bench I would call for the men in white coats!

    haha that's true..

now i am hoping for some big names in midfield and at the back lining up for us at this time next season.:drool::drool:

Happy with Falcao starting if it means him getting a goal or two and gaining even more confidence. Pretty much happy with the team and i don't really hate 3-5-2 as much as the majority does here.

It's not his job to make you happy. His job is to win football matches.

Anderson being ahead of Pereira just is not right, and the 3-5-2 needs to go, now that we have got our FBs back.

Hopefully all going well Januzaj will replace Falcao around the 60min mark. Rooney up top and see what Januzaj can do in the hole.

If all isn't going well then Mata will instead.

Both Rafael and Shaw starting but we are still playing 352..i dont like that.
Disappointed that Pereira isnt even in the squad yet Anderson somehow makes it.
    Januzaj on the bench again.

Great to see Di Maria back, hope he get a few minutes.
Wilson playing up top with Falcao! Pretty awsome for Wilson, hope they both find the net.

Erm it's more the fact that he's persisting with a formation, out of choice, that stifles out attacking play, restricts our tempo and makes our defenders look like morons. Fair enough when Young and Valencia are your only available full back options, but Shaw and Rafael are much more comfortable at full back.

There's a lot of other reasons why we are not a better attacking unit, blaming that on a formation alone is a bit simplistic. Secondly, there's absolutely nothing wrong with building a team that can adapt to various styles, and with regards to the defenders, well, in ANY formation they play under LVG, they'll look like morons unless they become VERY comfortable on the ball, something this formation can teach them. And like every new skill, it takes time to master, you'll always struggle when you learn something new, there's nothing to see here really.

9/11 in the line ups game. Needed more to catch up

Amazingly I had Anderson as one of my subs so I can get a max of 10

Insane some people here just cant stop with moans...like its not enough just to say for example "I am not happy with that formation" and thats it.No,no,you must have little digs at manager, players who you find useless in team etc.

Really?. This is Yeovil we are talking about here.No disrespect to them.

Probably the wrong statement to express my sentiment.

3-5-2 with a midfield of Rooney and Fletcher gives me absolutely no confidence that we will be scoring a lot of goals or have any control of the midfield even against Yeovil. We shouldn't be scraping through but I was expecting a lot of goals from our side whereas i can now see it ending up 1-0 or 2-0 at the most.

Nice respectful team. I guess Januzaj isn't feeling 100% after that bug he had.

3-5-2 is not what I like but atleast better than the 4-5-1 shite that we used on many occasions in Fergies last years. It' s also better than the football we saw during the Moyes era so cheer up. This is going to be tough. Its the game of their lives so they' ll be more than up for it

It's a strong line-up. I am surprised at the lack of Januzaj in the starting XI, seemed the perfect game for him. Pererra's absence on the bench is strange too. Hope Wilson gets his first goals of the season today.

Wonder if it will be Herrera or Rooney in the #10 role?

It's nothing to do with change, we had rarely played a diamond before this season and most were happy to use that. It's the fact that the players don't look at all comfortable in the 3-5-2 that most have a problem with.

Of course, when i started my piano lessons i struggled too, it's a normal process when you learn something new.

Well if our defenders are not comfortable on the ball, why would you play 3 of them, and in a formation where they have massive responsibility for starting attacks? That makes no sense.

things that would be a prefect game for us

    win of course
falcao and wilson amongts the goals
    no additional injuries
runnout for di maria and januzaj. maybe ando too:smirk:

Maybe it was a bit over optimistic to expect Pereira to start alongside all those today and Januzaj. We do have 4 teenagers starting after all.

Most important to win obviously and that team really should be winning comfortably. But I'd love it if Falcao could get a couple and really gain some confidence.
