I do agree that we've not improved much under Amorim, but it's only been 6 weeks and this is the squad that ETH built (supposedly), so it is a little different.

As it can go both ways, this system might work here or it might not work... People need to accept that this system might not work in here. Nobody can be sure. So what needed, is to see the signs and patterns of how Amorim is doing.

Honestly just looking at the players mentality and body language even before ETH was sacked and it hasn’t improved. These players are garbage and he inherited it. I’m not sure any manager can, we have a very toxic player room and toxic ownership.

Possession, control and pass completion has been a lot better in general but we look completely toothless. If we can start to attack with more urgency whilst keeping the improved control then it will be the start of something but for now we have too many square pegs out there and need players better suited to what we are trying to do.

For the Casemiro and Eriksen question, I think RA knows they are better than some of the lads he has been playing but they are already earmarked for the exit due to their age/contract situation so he probably thinks there is little point playing them for short term gains when he can be assessing the likes of Mainoo.
