Has Dalot managed to find a teammate at all today?

Amorim is not the right manager. I know that most United do not want to hear this yet, but it is the truth. At the end of January, the majority of you will say the same

There is no "right manager" when the players are utter clowns. Open your eyes.

Can’t believe in the space of a week we’ve conceded twice directly from a corner.

Like, come the feck on lads. You’re professional fecking footballers.

I’m very pleased with my decision to emotionally detach myself from this team.
The days of this shower spoiling my evening are over.

    Sadly it looks like it...

He will be sacked if this goes in the same direction. It's shocking.

We are worse off, than with ETH form wise.

It’s a blessing that people like you can only spout bollocks on fan forums rather than inside board rooms.

Both players in between the gk were blocking his movements. Especially the one behind him..
Onana didn't make enough out of the contact, any other keeper would have been on his arse once the arm went across him. Poor by the defenders to be honest, they need to get round the players crowding the keeper, not just all him to be doubled up on.

Total reset needed, open heart surgery like Rangnick said. Get all the shit players and players that underperform for years now out and let Amorim built something new with younger players. Finish 15th this year and top 8 next year, after that we can think of maybe top 4. Amorim is not the problem. We need a total reset from everything we did the last 5 years and even longer.

A forward is always allowed to stand in front of the keeper on a corner kick.

On the ball that beat Byanidir (sp?) a Spurs player clearly hooked the keeper's arm and the goal should have been disallowed. Here, Onana simply got beaten by the ball while a Wolves player stood his ground.
There were two of them blocking him in. It's never been allowed in football. He's being blocked from claiming the ball. It's a foul and it's going to happen every single game because if you're allowed to sandwich goalkeepers and obstruct them, teams absolutely -will-, because teams like to cheat and it's an easy goal if the referees allow it.

It’s not necessarily the GK, it just has to be someone in the defence collectively (inc. the GK). We got no one.

In theory that someone is the GK because it's the player that has the better angles. Personally I have never been in a situation where it wasn't the GK, there may be an other player that his also vocal but the GK is generally the main leader in that situation.

What happened to having a player on each post? Is that just a Sunday league level tactic these days?

Onana wasn't fouled but players did block him on goal line. Very, very debatable situation.

Amorim is in big trouble. His system isn't working. He has treated Prem games as training games to bed in his philosophy/system and ignoring the fact we are now in relegation trouble. As it stands just eight points away from the relegation zone with one game more played. We need wins not experiments.

Unless Amad can chase a ball down and create from nothing, we're absolutely done here.

I think we could slot peak United Rooney and Ronaldo into this and we'd still not look particularly great.

For these players, somewhat agree. However, I think the players will be gone before he is. The majority of these players have not put in consistent performances going back to 3-4 managers. The club needs to be accountable for continuing with the players that have not performed instead of forcing the new manager to stick with them by awarding them new contracts.

Last time I checked preventing a player from moving towards the ball was called obstruction, but I guess that doesn't apply here. The wolves player isn't playing the ball, he's put himself in a position to prevent Onana from moving across the line.

Maybe you're right. I don't know exactly the rules, but opposition teams clearly get instructions to block our goalkeeper. This isn't the first time it happened and certainly won't be the last time. Our coaching staff clearly need to deal with it.

Feck sakes I thought that was in

Spurs wasn't a foul either, just more weak goalkeeping. It's pathetic how much these players just get physically bullied every game all over the pitch.

The Spurs player actually did commit a foul on the keeper. Watch the video closely and you'll see a Spurs player, hook the left arm or Byandir while he attempted to make a play on the ball.

    Here it is.

25 days after his first PL game. Would love to hear who the right one is, I’m all ears mate. These wastes of spaces sure as shit don’t seem to work under any other ‘systems’.

Come on then, enlighten us. Let me guess. Is it Zidane?

Ridiculous to let that goal stand. No way. I've never seen that allowed in football before, because you'd just put three players standing on the goalkeeper every game if you did (which I guess teams are doing now vs us???)

    Need an inquest

Onana was more interested in cuddling than doing his job; was never fouled.
