Lopetegui is such a lunatic, glad to see him lose any match, let alone one we are in. Constant whingeing. I wish the 4th official (in every match) just responded with a “shut the feck up and stay in your technical area “.

Anyway, nail biter match. Some individuals emerge head held high, others would do well to forget this day happened.

    DeGea with two clutch saves.
Rashford with the winner, looking strong and confident on the ball. Not too long ago he couldn’t dribble around a dead cat.
Casemiro class. Falling in love with him.
Shaw is doing great as a CB, better than Maguire or Lindelof.
    Malacia did well.
AWB might be salvaging his career. Still a little hesitant in the opposition third, but looking like he’s been working on that side of the game.
Eriksen in and out of the game, they must have targeted him because he was unusually quiet.
Antony better than he’s been lately but not at his best.
Beek wasn’t too bad when he came in, out of sync with Rashford but to be expected when he’s not playing.

    Bruno was a mess.
Martial doing the team a solid by making a strong argument for us to sign a January striker.
Garnacho isn’t ready. Still a kid, learning to handle playing against animals, but should not be starting.

We deserved the 3 points. ETH knows what he’s doing.

Great result today always a hard place to get 3 points. Plus I'm top of fhe score prediction league hut I'm not one to boast.:)

Well done.. and why not boast?...I would if I ever get to that lofted position (highest was 10th for while last season);)

I agree its always a hard place to get three points, 'more workman- like' than brilliant performance, except of course for Rashford's goal and a couple of great saves from DeGea.
Always some debate around DeGea's overall keeper performance levels, but he is definitely a match-winning shot-stopper extraordinaire!

Definitely, for his faults , there's no one else I'd rather in goal for those nervy last few minutes than Dave.
I'm more optimistic for United ar fhe moment than I have even for a long time under Ten Hag. Let's hope it continues.

Agree with all your points here. That said, I do feel that you’re unfairly harsh on Bruno. He played that 1-2 perfectly for Rashford’s goal, and did lots of unnoticed but significant work.
There appears to me to be a venomous tendency on the caf to criticise at the moment. Sure, critique the players but try to retain some sense of balance. I often feel that this harsh tendency almost literally blinds people to the players’ contributions, and once it kicks in we get whole groups of people being really vicious toward individuals who may be going through a period of bad form or bad luck. The players are human, after all, and though they may fall short of the perfection of their caf denigrators ( not you, poster, I’m making a more general point) the team is actually improving visibly and could maybe benefit from the occasional ‘well done guys’ on here. Just a thought.
