Surprised to see Amad getting praise really. His technique is obvious but the last few games he's played I think it's become more and more apparent he's quite a while away from being first team ready. He's so small, weak and not very fast. Definitely a lot of potential, but a loan deal to the championship wouldn't be the worst thing. Needs to get used to the physicality of the English game, the speed of it and not get caught on the ball or out muscled all the time.

If he doesn’t make it here, Elanga should still go on to have a respectable career. That level of pace is always a weapon

Amad is clearly struggling a bit to find his rhythm and make the right decisions but you can see the talent. Silky touch and really light on his feet.
About time someone gives an honest opinion on what’s actually happening on the pitch.

Wolves fighting for everything here like they have something to play for. They love a piece of United.

That was a definite pen I think, stupid challenge by Saiss, and how Dean didn't see it I'm not sure.

The most confusing thing on VAR is the concept of "clear and obvious error". What's the barometer for a clear and obvious error?

He's fast. But just chooses when to switch his jets on.

Like Ronaldo the class is obvious they just need to play and build up a bit more physically. Amad certainly doesn't seem put off by the physicality.

enjoyable first half in comparison to the last couple of games. Elanga and Ahmed are looking promising and some good moments from VDB (was it me or did the commentator really call him Wan Bissaka?). Defensively we cant clear lines and look like rabbits in the headlights as usual

Really. Does Jenus phone his mummy during the program.
    Jenus is annoying I agree.
But the idiot Savage takes stupidity to a whole new level.
Difference is Savage plays to the gallery and will laugh at himself whereas Jenas is just a twonk!

Isn't he slated to replace Gary Linekar as the main face of football on BBC? Maybe that's a good thing as he won't be able to express his garbage opinions anymore.

    Good point, I believe you’re right .

I do think this is VDB's best position, he looks a bit bigger than earlier on in the season.

Needs to add a bit more dynamism and although it's a nothing game its a green shoot.

Something I like about Amad: He has a fine command of knowing when to go and when to stop. His calmness on the ball is very good, particularly considering his age.

Amad is being really cautious. Physically the lack of strength is being exposed centrally. Going against Boly isn't a good idea. Once he gets that tax bit of confidence, he already has the technique to cause a bit of damage even now

    Pen incident - Mata 1:2

I can't believe that the 2 commentators looked at the incident and said it wasn't a pen.
In 2021....that's a penalty. The defender recklessly attempted to kick the ball but instead slid into VDB's foot. The contact was so severe that you see VDB's foot change trajectory, immediately after the contact.
