Up till the last sentence I thought you were predicting how the 2nd half would goScore a goal, sit back and concede, play on the front foot again and get the (usual) penalty kick.
United this season.

It's this kind of thinking by commentators and I guess by refs that force players to go down when there is contact as that's the only way they will get the decision. Also saying he could have stayed in his feet. As if he knows what Donny felt. Studs on ankle is no butterfly kiss.
I mean...really? (sarcasm inside)
I love hearing the crowd again, even if its not our own. The piped in crowd noise was ok, but lacked the pure emotion of live fans in the stadium.
Exactly, and the pundits would be saying he should've gone down.I’d be annoyed if he stayed up.
was he in the spurs side that let a three goal lead disappear against us?Sometimes I do wonder what you do to get to positions like Jenas have?
Like he is some kind of "expert". As much expert as some Alfred or Johny after one night at some bar.
He clearly has something against us. Not once have I seen or heard him say something that actually is useful.
There’s a new Anto in town!I like Elanga. An younger but a better version of Martial. Very similar style.
I don’t remember why I put that guy on ignore but I see why I did based on that postReally? So it's only a fault if the player goes flying as soon as there is contact?
He is MUCH worse than Savage.
Amads going to be a very good player. Has the talent and has the work rate

Savage occasionally says something useful - and every now and then, correct. Jenas is a clownHe is beginning to rival the idiot Savage for the title of the most annoying man on TV.
That guy giving the two fingers after the penMy thoughts entirely. It's a dead rubber, last game of the season, and even in a half full stadium they're making it hostile.
There was a passage of play midway through the half when Wolves won a few tackles and made some nice passes which got the crowd going - it really took me by surprise as I haven't been used to hearing that 'wave' of noise happening when it's not a shot/goal.
Fred is a better ball winner than McT. McT is not bad in any particular area without being standout in anything either. If you keep Fred for the ball winning and Donny as the pivot, you're probably going to see a more proactive transition than McT and Fred. Of course we've barely seen that tested enough.Better than Fred - wonder how it would work alongside Scotty
Exactly, stay on your feet and the defender has done just enough to put you off your chance. Because Refs simply will not give a foul unless you hit the ground. It's this kind of thinking by commentators and I guess by refs that force players to go down when there is contact as that's the only way they will get the decision.
A foul is an illegal contact by a player on an opposing player. Whether that throws him to the ground or not should not matter.
Might be. Maybe that is what still hurtswas he in the spurs side that let a three goal lead disappear against us?
I don't know where this inane line of thought originated from, but every time these dickheads say, 'if they have to use VAR to see it, it isn't a pen,' I lose a little more hope in humanity. That's the point of it!! If the referee missed nothing, then it would never have been implemented in the first place.
Since when is kicking someone on the ankle with studs a “slight touch”? This commentary is pathetic.
Btw is it me or are they roughing up Amad??
It is, he even admitted it live on air the once.Might be. Maybe that is what still hurts
Amad is clearly struggling a bit of find his rhythm and make the right decisions but you can see the talent. Silky touch and really light on his feet.
Bottom line is, no one can reasonably judge how much contact is enough contact. Refs don't give a foul unless you hit the ground, that's common knowledge and is taught in the academies. Not sure what choice players have.Indeed. Almost as stupid as saying 'there was contact so it has to be a penalty'
What rule is that exactly.
Seems like it but it also seems like he doesn't care, he seems used to it. He's certainly not weak either.
