Thats not what he's saying though. He's not saying he doesn't agree with it, he hasn't acknowledge the system. He is wording it like Pogba had no right to take the penalty. That is just clear nonsense.
He has as much right as anyone else, I guess. He’s very poor at them though, which baffles me as to why Ole hasn’t put Rashford on them.

The mass hysteria in here. The only thing that truly bugged me today was the subs. Why so late Ole? That's all I want to know. In general the performance when measured across an entire game was pretty good - we just should have put it to bed with either the pk or before and we didn't. Let's see if we ve become mentally stronger since last season and blow another team away in the next game.

Ole is shit scared of upsetting Pogba ....and I reckon pogba knows it

Then how do you agree with Neville then, who was claiming Pogba did something despicable that Ole will be furious about?
I agreed with the part where he questioned Pogba taking them at all.

Can’t believe how much of an issue Neville is making out of this. He’s an absolute drama queen

Rashford explained this entire situation, eight days ago on the sports channel Neville is employed by and was working on at the time. He's not right, he's categorically, blatantly making shit up.
I know he did. What I don’t get is why Ole hasn’t stepped in.

Neville talking shit about the Chelsea pen. It was obviously Rashford’s. Tonight, Pogba took it off him.
Whoever earns it takes it?! Not a hard concept is it ffs. The press piss me off.

Agree with this. We were excellent first half against a good side (finished 7th Wolves not lower half). They came back at us and we finished stronger. Martial had a good chance, Lingard had a good chance and Pogba missed the penalty.

Overall, we probably deserved to win by a goal.

We've had as hard a start as anybody and 4 points from Chelsea at home and Wolves away is not to be sniffed at.

Much better than the last season. Players are not blended yet. Subs too late. Ole should have reacted faster and better to Wolves change of play. Traore created a lot of pressure on our left flank. Nuno used Shaw’s aggressive positioning and absence of a anchorman brilliantly. He found the way to unsettle us. Once we lost confidence and concentration, they started to create half chances, and finally scored. Credit to their coach: Wolves are very well organized team. Any team will struggle at Moulineux.

P.S. Mind: it’s too early to start bashing Woody...

He can't do it all on his own? He is poor and puts us in more danger throughout the game, outweighing his positives. We can each have our opinions and I'm not saying we should get rid as we would be even worse. He just isn't a player who we should bend over for next summer. Get a fee, let him go and replace him.
Pogba deployed properly further forward like when Ole first came in is breathtaking to watch. There he can do the most damage. He proved it last season. Do you not agree? My opinion is, it's not fair to not put him in the best conditions to thrive, then criticise him when he's not able to perform to the same standard. That doesn't make any sense to me.

It’s one of those you’d probably Be ok with a draw before ko. Then it unfolds And feel gutted at the end. Oh well. There’s still some improvement there. So I’m clinging to that.

Thank you for being level headed and rational.

Unlike his counterpart Liverpool pundits, and media is full of them, Gary earns his wage by trying to show that he doesn't favour United at all.

Rather he criticises our players etc to try to show he's a fair guy.

What a disappointment from someone who WAS one of us.

No idea, Rashford has always looked clinical taking the penalties albeit short sample size. Pogba must look amazing at them in training.

Pogba played in the same position today that he does for France. he is perfectly capable of playing multiple roles and positions. REAL world class players play where the team needs when the team needs them and they succeed anyway.

It’s simple - we will not have the ball much. When we do it’ll be up to Pogba to decide if he wants us to win or not.

No matter how exciting our team is this year it’s absolutely unacceptable how reliant on Pogba we are

I agree 100%. It's not a slight against Pogba, but our absolute lack of ambition and foresight. If he gets injured we can just pack up and go home. Or throw some of those 7 centre backs into midfield...

So Ole has stepped in then?
No I think he’s leaving it up to the players to sort out, which he shouldn’t. He should have seen that Pogba is bad at taking penalties and given the duty to someone else.

What are you all on about? Rashford said just last week that there isn't a single designated penalty taker and it rotates between multiple players. Pogba had every right to take it and it wasn't a terrible penalty either. Shit happens, move on.

Eric Cantona is the best penalty taker for us in the premier era, he took 16 spot-kicks in his five years at Old Trafford and only missed twice in the league, giving him a conversion rate of 87.5 per cent. He failed in attempts against Blackburn and former club Leeds but, on both occasions, went on to score later in the match.

I think he just wants to be on pens because he’s the main man. It’s like when Rooney used to take them despite proving to be pretty inept.

Nothing he said was knee jerk at all. He simply stated the facts of the game.

What's wrong with being happy with a good first-half performance? God knows we haven't had many to celebrate in recent years.

demanding we make two subs at half time when we are playing well and winning is deff "knee jerk"

We need someone better playing in front of our defence and Pogba playing further up the field.

That is bull. The best penalty taker takes it. What if Luke Shaw gets tripped in the box?
I’m not saying I agreed with it but clearly that’s what happened.

The fact Neville is trying to Suggest pogba stole it off him and called him a disgrace is ridiculous.

No wonder pogba wants to leave when he hears bullshit like this. A club legend against him.

Rashford said after the Chelsea game:
    'I wouldn’t say I’m the penalty-taker.

There’s four or five players that are 100% comfortable being in that situation.

For the keepers it’s more difficult, they don’t know who’s going to take it."

He is playing it to the best of his ability though. He is giving it his all. To compare France' team with quality & movement all over the pitch to us is absurd. Our lack of movement is laughable in comparison. Why are all our hopes and dreams firmly on Pogba's shoulders? He's also a cm.

Put a proper midfield base in the team, so Pogba doesn't have to hand-hold through a match, get him further forward and watch him cause damage. He proved that last season with Herrera in the team. We have no Herrera this season, I wonder what the difference is?

I must admit I'm not mad on the idea of our players going onto the football pitch not knowing who is going to take the penalties if they are awarded, if it's true. It is a recipe for unnecessary confusion and mental distraction if you're going to have a debate about it moments before someone steps up to take it.

The Wolves goalkeeper is a very good at saving them though, and there's every chance he might have saved Rashford's attempt too. I've seen far worse penalties end up in the back of the net. Pogba was unlucky.
