Was it genius to play James? His defensive pressing is invaluable!
Pogba shit in the first half as always. Definition of high risk high reward type of player.Superb half. In total control of this. Our defence looks confident and solid and this is reflected throughout the team. Wan Bassaka is a beast of a right back.Fantastic. One of the toughest away matches we'll have and that was close to flawless. Attacking wise but he has been important for pressing. Lingard has been the worst for meThat yellow was a joke. Can't believed they replayed it but one commentator still was going on about diving. Noticed they didn't replay the first 'dive'. But pleased with that performance so far, few things / mistakes but they are pressing well causing wolves to rush. Shame martial didn't bury that last one.Wolves are solid defensively - but my GOD they are boring to watch. Surely the most defensive side in the Premier LeagueIve said 1000 times. Martial is no. 9. Good first half, hopefully we can go on to keep a clean sheet and get a few more goals.Very happy with that. We’ve been very comfortable and not given them a sniff. Our work rate has been fantastic. Closing them down and not allowing their midfield to dictate the play like they have done in previous encounters against us.
Just need to keep possession of the ball a wee bit better as some of our passes have been a little off-stray.

I'd snag James at half-time, you know. Not because he's doing badly, but those Wolves defenders will be targeting him roughly and waving imaginary yellows whenever he hits the turf. A red card on his full debut would be horrible for him and is likely, given his playing style and Wolves' tactics.

fecking hate that you have to actively kick the opponent or run into him for the ref to be able to spot a foul. Clear denial of a goalscoring opportunity by forcing Martial off balance with a slide that's nowhere near the ball.
He is superb at winning the ball back - it's so refreshing to see a player tracking back 30-40 yards at full speed.
He looks a little nervous.
He fits in well with the shape of the team though and his pressing is a definite asset.Total control.
I'd like to see the ball being whipped into the box a bit quicker but great performance over all
