We ain’t winning this. Draw at best. We more often than not suck balls away (or home) versus anyone decent.

0-0 or 1-1 although I can see them winning
    2-0.

    I think its pretty simple

    Mainoo - Amrabat
    Bruno

    We win.

    Bruno - Amrabat
    McT

    We lose.

We have to be winning away games like this but I also said the same about home games like Bournemouth so what do I know?

If we play Mainoo we’ve got a much better chance of holding onto the ball and winning the game. No McT or Rashford starting. Both are good options off the bench, Rashford if he’s actually going to run and pass. McT if we need to go brute force.

They have been awful recently. We won't have a better team to face them.

Just want Hojlund to get a goal. I'll feel more confident going into games knowing he's broken the duck already.

I think he needs to be an impact sub. Use Martial to try and help us get some control with his better hold up play. Hopefully get ahead and then Højlund to come on to use his speed to exploit the space as they chase the game - and get that first league goal.

7 wins 1 draw 2 defeats in the last 10 games.
I wish we were as awful as that.

Yeah, only lost at home twice in all comps - to City and an Everton smash and grab.

When did we last beat a top 10 team away from home? Feels a long time ago!

We game raised to hang on to a draw on Sunday but will revert back to normal on Saturday.

That's what I fear as well.

If one of Liverpool's potshots found its way through our defence like it did against West Ham, we'd be looking at exactly the same type of beating as West Ham got.

One of the worst defenses versus one of the worst attacks. Hard to see how we we win this, but the same could be said about them. Would be nice for Hojlund to finally score.

We're not playing 6 at the back and parking the bus again like we basically did against the scousers, and we'll bring Bruno back in and abandon the double pivot. So I'm expecting we'll be wide open again. Hopefully our attackers have a good day - these have shipped 10 goals over 2 of their recent games, so there should also be plenty of chances for us.

On a side note, it'll be interesting to see how Paqueta stacks up against us. Right now he'd be one of my first signings in the summer, providing this court case isn't going anywhere.

Yeah it's a daft take to think we played well on Sunday but West Ham were terrible. The main difference was Liverpool took their chances.

They didnt really have many clear cut chances against us. Defensively we where very sound.

I think we lose this unfortunately. West ham are a good team and counter well. Can see Bowen, Kudus and Paqueta causing us nightmares.

Hopefully we will try to play with a normal midfield at least once.

Difficult to call. Moyes is pretty shrewd and his side were pretty abject against Pool', so I expect a response, and so will the West Ham fans. Early kick-off so that may actually help us. West Ham aren't that good, so if, if we can stay organised, maybe not very pretty, but hard to beat (no one just running through our midfield like a day-out-on-an-open-beach-for-example...), then hopefully SMT, or Bruno.. or dare I say Rasmus or Rashford (remember him??) can nick it for us.

I know it's not pretty , but a counter attack system. No passing out from the back , because he bought a keeper who can pass the ball..!

Keep this simple .. Hojlund to get his goal..

Defensively as a team Man United played well. Restricted Liverpool to few if any clear cut chances. Was a rare match this season that United didn't make individual errors and had lapses in concentration in defence something Liverpool more than most feed off.

West ham opening two goals conceded on Wednesday was errors and the floodgates opened after that.

With six starters to return West Ham will a lot more focused and harder to score against and beat at home tomorrow.

Lord feck off with the ‚If we have this midfield we stand a chance‘ bs. It is West Ham, we will probably win this.

That's exactly how i would want us to line up but McTominay will play in place of Mainoo I think.

West Ham to win, but only because they are better at set pieces and corners than us. And they have Kudus.

This proved well wide of the mark…six changes for West Ham ahead of a seemingly more important fixture at the weekend!

    Indeed.

A very different and much weaker team that anyone expected.

A lot of very unhappy supporters - full contingent travelled up, about 6,000 - and not a soul happy with the selection, the performance or the result.

Moyes has burned a lot of good faith from the supporters who've been following the club all round the country and Europe. The away support have generally stuck by him even when things were a bit tough a year ago and recognise what he's done but there's a feeling we binned the game.

If we fall behind tomorrow, the crowd might turn.

Got to think Fabianski, Zouma, Aguerd (if recovered from illness), Emerson, JWP and Paqueta will all come back into the first XI. Outside chance Antonio will make the bench, I think - the Arsenal game is more likely.

The first XI picks itself - Fabianski; Coufal; Emerson; Zouma; Aguerd; Alvarez; Soucek;JWP; Paqueta; Kudus; Bowen.

Nothing much on the bench , though Benrahma often seems to score an improbable one against Man Utd - think he has about three now.

West Ham are having a strange season. Beat Spurs, then got hammered 5 0 by Fulham a week later. Beat Arsenal in Cup, only to get battered by Liverpool. They're conceding quite a lot, but also overtake us if they win tomorrow.

Weve a mixed record there, and its a fixture I hate. Very hard to call. I'll optimistically go for a 2-1 win for United.

West Ham may well be up for it, but they will be tired and demoralised after getting smashed by a poor pool side.

Big win here and a good result v Villa and we are well on the road to recovery.

    2-0 Utd.

Most of their first team didn’t play against Liverpool so I doubt that will be a factor. Feels like they are being significantly underrated on this thread based on that result - a bit like Palace were after we beat their reserves.

I think we’ll lose if it’s the Amrabat-McT-Bruno midfield that ETH favours. Hoping he will go with something more solid.

You can never tell if our players will turn up or not. If they want it enough we can beat west ham. If they are in the more usual cant be that arsed mood its an easy 3 points for west Ham.
Mainoo has to play. Hes our best midfielder by a distance. we all see it, ETH has to see it and have the balls to drop Scott to the bench.
