    De Gea saved a penalty!? Unreal. :D So happy for him and from Ligard... I hope these guys get massive confidence out of this game. What a strange game.
     
    VAR was an absolute disgrace today. Two stone wall penalties for us which were not even considered. Some serious questions need to be asked of the VAR process today.
     
    I want to use all the bad words against Atkinson. What a load of crap he is.

    The ref's been as poor as we have. Lucky win but once more, we're not really playing well and make so many easy mistakes
     
    So much to say in the post-match thread, but is there any mechanism within the FA to review the performance of the referee? And VAR? This was beyond farce.
     
    In a weird way now that it's happened, I'm so happy West Ham got that penalty.

    De Gea has had such a tough couple of years and I for one have been critical of him. I swear after the EL final he was on a streak of near 30 penalties without a save.

    He seems a changed man this year and I'm over the moon that he was able to be the hero today and save the penalty. You could see how much it meant to him and the team.

    Good to see two players who have struggled recently to be able to make their mark and be the heroes today. Well chuffed :)
