Tim Howard is saying diving is ok on the states broadcast live unbelievable

Ah, I couldn't place the voice.

But yeah he's doing an awful job, talking about diving being ok, and then said Song's was a "good foul"

    Cynical idiot.

We need a proper midfielder in there with Di Maria or Rooney. Having them both in there is a waste of fecking time.

Januzaj needs to buck his ideas up too.

It's individual performances letting us down so far.

It's an away game. They should be slightly the better side. We have to play a patient game and hopefully we'll get a break.

That was absolutely awful. We need another proper midfielder in there.

FYI west ham are without carroll and their first choice centrebacks. We have hardly troubled them because our strikers are just incapable of beating a defender with pace.

We simply are not good enough to be playing both Falcao and RVP, we should play one of them, push Rooney in behind them than bring Herrera into midfield.

So why not take off Falcao and RvP and move Rooney up front?
Falcao will stay up front an toe the line better and make runs IMO. Moving Rooney up top on his own, and we'd find him dropping back too much. He always does it.

Sub off Januzaj please. His decision making is too frustrating.

That was a tough watch to say the least. We seem to be at the mercy of West Ham's long ball tactics. They're making us chase the ball in our own corners as well.

Going forward we're pumping the ball too much as well. Van Persie are Falcao are trying and failing to hold it up, then the ball comes straight back at us. In rare moments when we've kept it in midfield, we're been able to feed Januzaj and Di Maria to run at them. Our possession stats must be pretty horrific so far.

Mata is our best corner taker I would say.
The funny thing is - he doesn't take them even if he's on the pitch most of the time. I wouldn't be surprised if Rojo or Shaw begin to take them at this rate.

It's as if the players haven't trained with each other for 3 months. Clueless.

There's so much wrong it's untrue.

No balance in midfield, plus wtf is Rooney doing in this system other than looking lost? Di Maria looks like we've pissed £60m up the wall. Van Persie and Falcao robbing over a half a million quid a week.

    Fellaini and Wilson on please.

Is it just me or is everything infuriating?

Look at this way, why is De Gea always more busier than the opposition keeper?

We maybe 4th, but we cant even offer a quarter of what Chelsea do as a team we rely heavily on crosses, long balls, corners and rooneys big diagonal balls to make us look like we are being expansive, when in fact it's the same one dimensional football that creates no problems for Kouyate or Tomkins.

Same old story for the last few years. Can't keep possession at the back/midfield = long ball = lose ball = repeat. Falcao and rvp get no service at all yet are expected to just produce from nothing.

True, we've never really dominated the midfield ever since Keano left, unless weaker teams are sitting back and parking the bus. Thats why Fergie set us up to be pacey and dangerous on the counter.

For the first time I am actually angry at LvG. I am furious that he decided to keep a declining RVP, took Falcao on loan , and let Welbeck go. Danny was never going to become world class like an Henry, but he was still useful, pacey, versatile to play multiple positions and most importantly homegrown/loyal. Instead we chose to keep RVP who will probably end up leaving on a free, and he slows us down. We also let Kagawa go, a technical speedy player, and replaced him with Mata, another slow player who doesn't seem to fit us and we can't utilize his creativity either.

ive been a supporter of LVG but now im wondering maybe his philosophy is to blame, if elite players like AdM, Falcao, RvP, Rooney, and now januzaj are struggling under his philosophy and clearly not playing to the best of their abilities. A good manager should be able to bring th ebest out of every player ie SAF

Part of the problem is trying to shoehorn them all together, the whole Rooney's got captain privileges thing. we've absolutely no balance.

The sad thing for me is that there's nothing surprising about the performace. Exactly what I expected.

This is a good WH side, and we often find it tough to play down there. Pretty depressing though that this excuse is valid only for the next 45 minutes, after which shit will be served elsewhere.

Hahaha at Valencia hitting the first man on that cross.

i would of cried sweet tears of joy had that cross come in.
Sadly we all knew exactly how it would end.

took 3 weeks to whip it in haha

Haha true. He got the ball, looked, looked, looked, prepered his cross, crossed and hit the first defender.

LVG is losing his credibility. i he cannot see how Rooney is struggling and one of Di Maria, RVP or Januzaij needs to be sacrificed.

Di Maria hasn't look convincing in a while now. Can't Remember his last good game.

Valencia has defended rather well, but going forward has been quite wasteful again.

Rooney is invisible, Januzaj wasteful. Falcao tends to do these little nice touches but in the end he tends to lose possession a lot. The quality is there, the application isn't.

Our movement is non existent. Our players are being forced to play through them which means they get surrounded and then lose possession. A half to forget.

I really want to know what LVG thinks when he sees this crap, i mean its the same in every game so what the hell is he thinking?

Shit half, not unexpected though. We have 1 midfielder on the pitch again. We're pretty bad at defending set pieces but solid enough apart from that.

We won't get top 4 if van Gaal persists with falcao, van Persie and Rooney together. Its pure stupidity really, and then he blames the formation on the lack of balance. We effectively play with 9 players on the pitch with the strikers not doing anything

We were decent for that 5-10 min spell. The rest has been shite though.

I swear Valencia waited for the defender to get back just so he could hit him with the cross

Steaming pile of shite that was....

Di Maria needs to seriously up his game. Been woeful for weeks now, simply not good enough.

Terrible half. We are getting overrun in the MF, yet again. Really irritated because we have the personnel to overload the middle yet we play 2 strikers who aren't getting any kind of service. It's easy to blame Falcao and RVP for not doing anything but the only time they really see the ball is when they drop back and join the play in midfield. Januzaj is killing our pace up front as he seems afraid of West Ham's stocky defenders. Di Maria has made a few good runs but has been generally wasteful.

One obvious change is to bring in Fellaini since we're being killed in the air. If LVG thought Carroll being out of the lineup gave him cause to not play him, it's clearly a mistake because we don't have Smalling or someone of comparable height for the set pieces against these Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime. If things don't change in that area fast, I think we could lose the match because of it. I would also pine for Herrera but at this point I'm not wasting my breath.

Props to our defenders, all of them - Shaw, Rojo, Jones, and Valencia. All are working their asses off and are being left with no protection at all.
