You just need to watch with your own two eyes the lad (Smalling) can’t play football and shouldn’t be anywhere near our starting 11. I’m not saying jones is like a Vidic or Stam but he is an actual defender with some great qualities and had he not been so injured would be first choice without question (as he was early on in the season).

The lack of quality is jaw dropping in this match.End of season or not I don't care. The players and manager have a duty to entertain the fans. If I didn't know who was who I wouldn't be able to tell which is United and which is West Ham. It's very sad.

I watch with my own two eyes and see that Smalling is clearly our best out-and-out defender and also the most reliable. Yes he's shit with the ball at his feet but that's not a prerequisite for being a good centerback. Jones hasn't been there when most needed his entire United career. Look at all the big games we've played over the years, Smalling features way more than Jones and United have consistently had the best or second best defense in the league since Moyes leftUnbelievable amount of laboured football to just punt it into the boxsanchez and rashford both look like they have no desire to actually be in the box. Both seem to enjoy sprinting back 20 yards to play a backwards one two before the other repeats on the opposite side.This team makes every little thing look so... effortful.Literally at a standstill there with no clue what to do.
