We are talking West Brom , the same West Brom who are second bottom, with no wins in their last 5 games.
Just wanted to check, because I thought we were playing a world class side from the doom and gloom on here.
I am surprised by their record against United, though. Last five games 2W-1D-2L? Not too bad. Everything but a United win today would still be a minor miracle.

    De Gea
    Valencia Smalling Lindelof Young
    Matic Herrera
    Rashford Lingard Martial
    Lukaku

Subs: Romero, Jones, Shaw, McTominay, Fellaini, Mata, Ibrahimovic

2-0 win, they're not very good.

I see us struggling here with no Pogba and Pardew being on the mission it will be a difficult game.

What a load of miserable fecking cnuts.
More like better going into the game expecting nothing and being pleasantly surprised than being overconfident (no reason for that as well considering our form without and Pogba and this being an away game).

    How about being realistic?

I fear a long slog of an afternoon, with a hard fought 2 nothing, or 2-1 win for us. What they did again yesterday, could impact again on our performance level. Hopefully not and we relax and cut loose, but I don't see it.

I see pre match talk has died down evidenced by the lack of genuine activity on this thread which signifies people have lost their love for Man Utd matches with the city game being the last straw for many.

I myself find it quire hard to get into the spirit these days but a demolition of west brom will go some way to elevating united spirits. GGMU

    How about being realistic?
In the Paul's absence we had 3 away games in the league; lost 2 and drawn the other, how about that for the reality?

Edit: Apologies for the false news, we won against Southampton without him but if you can recall we were holding on for the majority of the second half, so not exactly the ground for confidence either.

    Confirmed United team
De Gea, Valencia, Young, Smalling, Jones, Matic, Herrera, Lingard, Mata, Rashford, Lukaku.

If we can’t best West fecking Brom, then we don’t deserve to be fighting for the title.

With or without Pogba, we should be wiping the floor with these cnuts!

I disagree. There is still a lot to play for even if it’s 2nd place. We’ve not been anywhere near a title challenge since Moyes took over. City have one hand on the trophy and it’s theirs to lose but we can still make it close if they drop form. 3-4 draws for them and subsequent wins for us and we’re back on their heels.

    9/11 it's then.

We'll have problems creating chances without Pogba and Fellaini so we have to make the best out of anything we get.

I didn't watch the game against Bournemouth, did Martial play badly or didn't he play?

Stupid to drop Martial after having him for only 66' minutes in the last game. Also, Valencia must be completely recovered from his knee issue. Mata starting is a no for me, after playing a whole game just a few days ago. But it means Mourinho is expecting lots of possession.

    Three first teamers omitted
Ahead of the January transfer window, Luke Shaw makes the bench ahead of Blind and Darmian. They have become the prime contenders to leave in January - although neither have to worry about game time ahead of the World Cup.

Don't forget to make this match day thread all about City, lads.

I assume Jose wants to rotate, as otherwise I see no point dropping Martial.

If Lingard and Rashford have one of their "meh" days, we could be in for a slog to score a goal.
