I am looking forward to the game tonight. Not expecting anything new but maybe there will be signs of a reset.
Will be interesting to see if Carrick just continues like before or tries something different just to tell the world he was not the issue and he on his own is capable of learning.

Does Poch have an assistant that he always brings with him? If not, this is an audition period for Carrick, but he’d have to really excel.

I’m in Norway and have been watching games on Norwegian TV, but now I’ve downloaded some mad stuff on my TV which has given me access to all channels in the universe.

So my question is: which UK channel is the game on? And how can I look that up in the future?
I have the app 'Sofascore' for tracking scores/fixtures etc.... If you navigate to the match you are interested in it displays what channels the match is being shown on and has a dropdown option to change the country and see what channel it is on elsewhere. It's useful when travelling to find out where you can catch a match in a different country.

Damn, just realised it's an early kick off.
Hopefuly I'll catch the second half.
Really want to see DVB and Sancho starting

The kick off time completely took me by surprise on this one. Didn't know they moved to Russia.

Not to bring the sun out on all of the gloom around the board, but there is a nip in the air today. It feels like a good day for United. I am predicting 3-1 United.

If we win we ll have :

    United 10 points (and qualified)
    Atalanta 8 points
    Villarreal 7 points
    YB 3 points

If we draw we'll have :

    Atalanta 8 points
United 8 points (qualified if we draw against YB)
    Villarreal 8 points
    YB 3 points

    What will happen :

    Villarreal 10 points
    Atalanta 8 points
    United 7 points
    YB 3 points

Going into the last day against the mighty Young boys with an obligation to win with Atalanta and Villarreal both losing points playing each other. So even if we lose tonight, we'll have the chance to qualify the last day.

But if we lose by more than 1 tonight, it's out of our hands as an Atlanta win against Villareal would put them both through regardless of our result against YB

Carrick will be as bland and as safe as he was during most of his playing days. Sideways and backwards passing FC.

Any news on Greenwood? He was a massive miss at the weekend and I’d rather not have to put up with too much Rashford if we can help it.

I hope McT or Matic don't play. I don't think McT has looked right since his injury, Matic just can't move. I'd like to see Donny start with Fred, can't believe I actually want Fred to start but he's probably the best of a bad bunch at the minute considering the alternatives. I'd like to see Sancho start, he's one the few that will put crosses in, and even though he hasn't hit the ground running, I've seen a few signs recently that are encouraging. String of games should help him.

Oh feck, early kickoff - my lineup is shocking
    I went for

    DDG
    Telles
    Harry
    Lindlof
    AWB
    VDB
    Bruno
    Fred
    Rashford
    Ronaldo
    Sancho

Is yours much different? We can have an early preview of where we are post match

    -----------------------------------------------------De Gea--------------------------------------------------------
    -----AWB--------------Lindelof-------------------------------Maguire----------------------Shaw-------
    --------------------------McTominay------------------------Fred---------------------------------------------
    -------Sancho-------------------------------Ronaldo---------------------------Rashford-----------------

    Put money on it.
I wouldn't put money on starting with ten players to be honest.

brave, and fair play if you get it right.

I considered it but alas not so brave

With Telles not being great defensively, and Maguire not playing on the weekend I figured 3 at the back helps us defensively, and allows Bailly to not come into Chelsea cold. But we'll see.

Can't see a dramatic change as with the quick turnaround there has not been the time to work on much in training and with our lot it is suicidal to send them out there uncertain of their role. I am more inclined to expect some evolution in the team selection and maybe 3 at the back because we have worked on it at least. I don't want to see Shaw on the pitch, concussions are one area where football is ridiculously behind the times and he has no business playing right now and I do want to see Donny starting because if he doesn't get a start tonight after his performance at the weekend then he might as well get the next flight back to Holland and wait for the transfer window.

    Probably this.

Media already have the teamsheets. Some interesting news coming it seems at 16:30.

    ------------------Ronaldo
    Rashford Fernandes Sancho
    ----------------DvB Carrick
    Telles Lindelof Jones AWB
    ----------------DDG

If it's not this, I will be pissed off.
In reality, substitute Carrick for Fred but I FULLY stand by and stan Jones.

Carrick doesn't care I hope. Probably secretly hated Ole and browsed Caf in the meantime on his Ipad.
