Well Ole has gone balls to the wall with that lineup, I love it. Very attacking, let's hope it works out for us and we can blow them away!
Obviously that center back pairing makes me nervous so we pretty have to go and win it on the front foot as I can't see us not conceding. Massive shame for Maguire, he must be very disappointed. Unsurprising though, it's looked unlikely for a while. I suspect he's only on the bench to get a run out if we're comfortably winning.
De Gea over Henderson seemed inevitably after recent games, but perhaps it would have alway been De Gea since him and Henderson seemed to swap roles a little while back.

Fred clearly not full recovery after the knock he picked against Fulham. Him not starting though has allowed both Rashford and Greenwood to start.

Concerns - we don't have much to turn to from the bench if we need to change the game/it goes to extra time & despite being better technically, a CM on Pogtominay could well get overrun/outfought.
Fred has made some notable errors of late, regarding our build-up play, especially against Liverpool. With a high pressing team like Villareal, maybe Ole doesn't want to take any risks. That said, with Rashford and Greenwood on the wings, and Cavani up top, we can play more direct football if needed, meaning we won't always have to play out from the back.
The way I look at it.
We could go ultra negative and stick 11 men behind the ball, we could have two kante's playing defensive midfield in front of the two centre backs.
And they could both still feck it up and do something stupid.
It looks like Ole knows Bailly and Lindelof are shite and that we'll concede but he's hoping we have enough firepower to blow them away. It's a sound strategy I think.Prediction: Villarreal to score early, and one of / both of McT and Pogba to get an early booking.I love final day.
