Knew there would be one. I'm not having a go. Keeper goes the other way and he saves it easily. maybe if he stays central he saves it. Yes he scored it and the keeper went the other way. All I'm saying is penalties should give the keeper no chance even if he guesses correctly. That pen was not rolled in because he saw the keeper go the other way, Mason had his head down the whole time. He scored. It was a badly struck penalty.

I agree. I just don't think it's good practise to put the ball anywhere other than the corner. Especially if you're not giving the keeper the eyes and waiting for him to commit.

Not sure I agree. Plenty of top notch takers go down the middle. It's an art. Ask @Red Indian Chief Torn Rubber. He is an expert in the craft and could educate you and me both on the subject.

World class? That was arguably the best midfield in living memory, and they also had a little lad called Messi hitting his prime years.
