    Yep. Think of all the games we won by a single goal and a late save by De Gea in 2023. Yet he wasn’t good with his feet so we get a keeper who can’t save anything. Game’s gone mad.
     
    Maybe it’s time to look at our GK coaching, I remember DeGea doing precisely the same thing of palming the ball away too.

    Easy to say when you’re watching the slow mo but he did well to get a hand to it with how quick it happened. You’re in the lap of the gods or at least the mercy of your defenders.

    Hilarious reading posts here giving Onana a pass on the goal. Basic keeping at this level is to push the ball out wide, not right at the feet of the forward.

    Honestly if that's the standard we expect from our goalkeepers then what's even the point. Might as well play Lindelof in net.

    I kinda like my keepers to keep the ball out of the goal. But thats just me :lol:
     
    It’s funny how Dalot continually finds himself in great attacking positions in this system but ultimately has the quality of a right full back when we need the quality of a top class winger who can beat a man either way.
