I'd have preferred a changed 11 but it's highly unlikely. Not too many managers would make changes after 1 match if they have a starting 11 in mind coming into the season, and preseason lineups indicate he does

Surprised he's gone for Rashford upfront. Mentally readying for another sulk.

Sticking with Garnacho. Fair enough, I though Sancho earned his chance.

I generally hate Rashford playing up front by himself but I think he's better suited to the role in this match than against Wolves who played very deep and disciplined.

Spurs seem to be playing a very high line and are shaky at the back.

Same eleven, good, glad to know Erik is not a kneejerker like half the Caf.

No Maguire on the bench. Something to be hopeful about at least :D

you can hurt them by playing your best forward in their favourable position, furthermore you need no. 9 as springboard for your other attackers. this is like asking Vinicius to play as no. 9.

Yikes. I just don't see how this lineup is going to work away from home.

Surprised it's exactly the same XI. Thought Sancho might come in for Garnacho. Better be a much better performance today

Ten hag sticking with the same team when it’s constantly driven into us that standards matter? I know our squad depth is suspect but there’s a bit of a conflict there.

I am actually quite pleased, I don't want Garnacho to be in a perpetual cycle of doing really well as a sub, starting a game then being taken out of the team again. If Ten Hag has decided to give him a bit of a run and see if he can find his feet then I'm interested to see it.

Maybe slightly harsh on Sancho but whilst he did okay he didn't exactly pull up any trees to the level that he could complain.

Correct decision to field the same 11.

You don't bin an idea after 90 mins.

    3 points incoming!

Not sure if it was right to stick with the lineup.

Makes sense that he wants redemption. Wants to prove it can work. We'll see.

Wow, didn't expect Garnacho to start after the poor performance on Monday. Hoping for a good reaction from him.

Seems like Ten Hag has faith in him.

With Mount likely doing his best invisible impression again, we need Bruno to be disciplined and help Casemiro out to have a chance to grab some points. Don’t understand ETH here, if it’s broken fix it.

This lineup suggests we're going to sit back and hope for a counter.

I can see us getting embarrassed here.

EtH is asking these players to show that they are better than the last performance. I hope we at least tweaked the midfield positions, because if not, it could get ugly.

Really surprised with same line up, think Spurs will comfortably beat us with that same soft midfield.

Glad Maguire is not on the bench at least.

Grrr will they get rid of that number order
It's horrible. At this point I assume whoever is in charge of social media just doesn't want to have to deal with things like guessing our formation and tactical scheme, since that's not always clear depending on the lineup.

Reports that Maguire is carrying a small injury before anyone gets excited.
