Oh man, what I would give to have him in the starting lineup today.

I was saying last week, during the Liverpool game, how I'd love to see his reaction if he were on the pitch with them strolling round, not even trying to tackle Liverpool, as if we were 4-0 up against a non league side. Our midfielders are far far too soft. As is our manager.

Weird we didn't get Conte but go on to play 3 at the back and completely change system under Ole.

I'm surprised those that think Ole is a "yes" man aren't claiming he's been told to play it to bed it in pre Conte's arrival!

I think he means 5 defenders and 2 defensive mids, plus a keeper.

Could hardly get more defensive unless we took Bruno out and brought Matic in.
And maybe switched Ronaldo for Lingard.

Shaw and AWB will be expected to provide attack support just as much as defensive support though.

Having Cavani and Ronaldo in the same starting 11 for the first time is a bold move.

He's continuing with the same damn players, just trying to bulk his defence up by playing three at the back. That McFred duo has been playing terribly and getting run through, does he change it? No, he just puts another defender behind them.

It reeks of stacking men behind the ball, rather than trying to find a way to control a game.

Who would you start instead of the same players? I guarantee you would have complained regardless of the line up.

Pogba, Greenwood, Rashford, Sancho have all been dropped so it's hardly continuing with the same players. I mean who exactly would you have started instead of the line up today?

I just can't accept players getting picked based on their name and not form. Ole has no bottle.
    Neither can I.
If we lose today and he's sacked, I couldn't give 2 fecks because he's asked for it. His man management is absolutely atrocious.
All he's doing is promoting complacency with this shit.

I feel like screaming or crying looking at the line up even though I knew it was going to be broadly similar.

I'm despondent with this now. Sick of the sight of it

I swear Aaron Wan-Bissaka just came out of the tunnel looking like he's already given up, blowing out his cheeks like he's sighing, maybe I'm wrong though

McTominay is probably thinking he’s showing everyone today and ending up with a straight red card

I wonder how fit Varane is, is this just Ole rushing yet another player back?

Love Keane, but it's ole who keeps playing these under performing players and this the buck stops with him.

?Right, I'm hoping for any kind of win. We are in dire need of points.

That Spurs lineup is tragic too. I genuinely don’t see how we lose to them.

1-2 United. Cavani and Ronaldo headers, Maguire own goal.

I can’t stand Maguire anymore. He talk the talk. He is just happy to collect his check every week. No bottle, not a winner. And he is the captain.
If Keano was his team mate, je would bully him to the death.

This is hyperbole and being melodramatic.

Maguire has played the last 2 games without being fully fit. The team capitulated at the end of last season without him in the team.

Granted he has been poor this season so far but he has been our best defender since he signed for the majority of his time at the club.

He’s shite though let’s be real here, he’s a liability massively defensively and scoring a good goal when the first choice player is injured doesn’t guarantee you first team football when your defensive performance in the same game was woeful.

Shaw is just as woeful defensively currently, same as Maguire. You wont find a CB and LB with a worse performance all season.
