I don't think Grealish plays "left wing" like a left winger.

There are some players who can only play on one flank. Grealish doesn't take the game on in that way. He'd be exactly the same on the right.

Ahhh I see. Yeah, I could see that. Think Sancho is the same type of player, too.

IMO this is our best lineup. Rashford on the left and Pogba on the right will cause big problems for Spurs. And our defense will be tough to breakdown. I think it will be a 3-1 win and the end of a great week for United.

    Let's go lads!

would be v surprised if this isn't 4231 with Rashy on the right.

And if it doesn't end 0-0.

Can't see anything other than a 0-0 unfortunately

Would be gutting if Spurs managed to get a win and do a league double over us, don't think they've ever done that in the PL era :nervous:

If Cavani isn't good today it's the last time I'd start him tbh.

Has he had a good game when starting for us?

Come on United that Spurs defence is there to be got at.

Shit CBs and two very attacking full-backs.

Ideally we can get the first goal, then get some width on in the second half to hit them on the break.

But who am I kidding - we all know Spurs will score first. Put your fecking house on it.

Everything's lining up for us to lose this

    1. Team above and below us lose? Check

    2. Top 6 opposition? Check

    3. Form in this fixture (We've only won once league game away vs Spurs since Fergie left.) check

    4. We played Thursday, they didn't... Check

    5. Jose position looking dodgy/ needs a win? Check...

So with all that in mind.3-1 United

How far is it from West Ham to Tottenham? Can Lingard take the Tube and make it in time for kick off?

No Utd team has ever scored more than 1 goal away to a Mourinho team ....1-1

We need a DM so we can't stop this McFred nonsense.

They have their uses but we should not be playing them together.

Do you think Ole would play Pogba deep if he had Ndidi or Rice, for example?

I personally believe Ole wants two defensive midfielders to facilitate our attacking quartet?

It's just not needed to play two defensive mids if you get one who can do the job properly. It's not like Pogba or Bruno aren't capable of doing their bit of defending too.

That's a pretty good shout looking out our lineup and Jose's negativity againt top-four sides.

Still, I'm going for 4-0 United. Revenge for the 6-1 earlier in the season.
I'm actually more confident of goals after looking at their lineup. Rodon is inexperienced, Reguilon is attack minded and Ndombele is not a deep midfielder. We should have a proper go today.

But a 4231 is set up to have two defensive midfielders, with attacking onus coming from the quartet and full backs.

Ultimately, I think that's what Ole wants to do.

Unfortunately, our attacking players have let us down in games such as today.
