    Robbie Keane: "Pochetinho"
That, and Sherwood can't get the name right of most of our players. It's really depressing watching some of these "pundits" on TV. It's 2019, let's get someone in the studio who can actually not sound like a complete idiot when talking.

Matic has been very good. Better than Pogba. Lindeloff and Jones also solid. Others need to improve.

Yeah, Magic has been really good. Insane how people slag him off. The thing about his game is that you have to watch him closely to see what he brings to a game. Minus that pass (worth a million bucks, I have to say),/Pogba has not done much. If Martial and Lingard step up their games, we will pound Spurs in the second half.

I don't think Scholes ever hit those sort of passes. He always had a little step up before hitting them. How Pogba got that power on it with it basically under his feet is beyond me.

Scholes probably would've had a better first touch to take it away from him a bit and then dink it.
Probably for another thread but how does Pogba rate against the best passers we’ve ever had?
    Better than scholes? Becks?

Rashfords goal was the best showing of our change of play under Ole, its all about direct and quick passes. Well done.

Rashford has so much natural ability, and he’s so much better when he plays on instinct. It’s almost like when he has to think, he overdoes it and his decision making let’s him down.

With the goal he’s put in by Pogba, and he’s all on his own. He’s got no choice but to leather it, and it’s a great hit.

No, he wouldn't. Lingard movement through the middle and Rashford's brilliant running behind the defense is the main reason why we were so good in the first half, and we scored a goal from the same situation. Lukaku wouldn't allow us this.
Lingards movement is dragging the defenders out allowing Martial and Rashford to get isolated in 1 v 1 situations.
Its brilliant and I'm crediting the player and Ole with this. Let's hope it continues on into the second half

Our shitness is still that ingrained in me from the last 6 years, I’d still take a draw if you offered it to me now.

Been great so far though, let’s hope we can push on and not retreat back into our own half.

Pogba is really looking like the player we knew he could be. His consistency issues have evaporated in an attacking system. I honestly think him and Martial would’ve left this summer if Ole hadn’t come in.

I think Mou's beef with those two players really contributed to the fans turning on him as early as they did. An idiot could see that these two are proper footballers. Just need to be patient with them and give them freedom to make mistakes.

    It's great to dream again!

If only we sacked Jose last season, who knows where we would be now if we played the type of football we clearly are able too?
I suppose there's an argument that we had to hit rock bottom for us to remind people what this club was about. Mourinho still had backing from a lot of supporters last year (amazing, considering the FA Cup final and Sevilla at Old Trafford.)

I love having my team back. This is what Manchester United should look like. So happy for ole.

One tough half to go, but feeling confident.

We've been doing it all season, including under Mourinho (albeit, Lukaku is nowhere near as good as Rashford at drifting).
No we haven't. when has lingard ever popped up in false 9 position?

Probably for another thread but how does Pogba rate against the best passers we’ve ever had?
    Better than scholes? Becks?
Different kind of passer than Scholes, but Beckham's right foot was absolutely ridiculous at long range passing and crossing.

There's still the Mou- leftover wayward passing, but in overall we look like a coached team with the pass and move.

Lingard was moving center but I don't think the striker was changing its position which leaded to condensing the midfield without much output.
That's exactly what the striker's been doing. It started about halfway through last season.

Rashford's brilliant at it though. I've been talking about it for weeks. Neville's pointed it out today, so it's getting a bit more attention.

It was a very good finish by Rashford (after an exceptional ball by Pogba) and he's been in good form recently but he certainly isn't world class. Nowhere near it either.
Oh Rashford will be. I was just taking the piss on Pogba not being world class but Erikson is.

What a fecking goal! Absolutely fantastic pass by Pogba. And great finish from a difficult position. More of this in the second half and we'll be golden.

So Rashford is becoming excellent on all three attacking positions. Not bad.

The betting ads in the UK are a disgrace, no wonder a good section of the population have gambling issues.

Good half by us. Our previous counters have been stymied by sloppy finishing or great defending. Great to put one away. Can't think of one player underperforming (maybe Young?), DDG's distribution needs to be worked on over the summer. Lingard has been great.

Tottenham were unlucky to have Sissoko come off. Interested in seeing how Pochettino responds.

I was on the fence but sign him up tomorrow don't care what the result is today we have our club back

    Test passed already for me
Spurs are currently a better side and they're at home so it's very possible they'll still come back and win but even if they do we've shown that the Jose ghost is completely dead and we're a proper side again, a dangerous one to be respected.
A world class goal from the boys *applauds*

Ole will expect them to push forward. We will catch them again on the counter.

We don't need to push forward. We just need to keep countering. It has been a brilliant strategy in this game. Spurs has been lucky even though they missed a few too in fairness.

You know what, I don't think Rashford is as naturally talented as we think, but he seems like someone who really works on his game. That finish is testament to that.

Pogba really doing foot on their neck season. all them people that were talking crap and buying into the propaganda that washed up manager was selling are feeling the pressure. timberland on the neck

In this recent form, Rashford is as good as Mbappe (I said in this recent form). If he continues like this, bye bye Lukaku.

And who said Pogba wasn't world class?

Rashfords goal was the best showing of our change of play under Ole, its all about direct and quick passes. Well done.

Agreed. Fantastic pass by Pogba there and Rashford did well. Thats the only thing I demand from Rashford, to be more clinical on one on ones.

Pogba and his great vision. So so talented the lad.

    Second-half kick-off
I just want Martial to score now and my day is complete.

    Second-half kick-off

    No changes at the break.

Spurs need to go looking for a goal now. Can we punish them on the counter-attack as they do so?
