    Lindegaard instead of Lindelof. Mata instead of Matic. How does he have a job?
     
    Matic has been very good. Better than Pogba. Lindeloff and Jones also solid. Others need to improve.
     
    Look excellent on the break. Jose never got anywhere near this sort of counter attack going.

    The finish is very hard even though Paul’s ball was magnificent. But Rashford finish where he forces the opposite corner? Absolutely mental. We needed that power in the ball.
     
    If we get any CB that isn’t Phil Jones and we get a RB that actually works positionally and defensively instead of Young, we’re not actually that bad are we?

    I didn’t have faith that Rashford would score cause he usually misses them but it was perfect. Great anticipation by Lingard, beautiful pass by Pogba and a great finish by a man in form.

    So bloody pleased with that first half.
     
    Can we talk about how Lingard and Rash changed their positions so that Lingard moves central while Rashford moved to right to disturb their defensive line and drag their defense out ?

    Ole isn't just about motivation. He's fecking great tactically.
     
    Anyone else see the similarity of Pogba's pass with the ones he played for Mbappe in the World Cup? He played him in number of times playing that same glorious pass.

    He should have been forever banished from football circles after that loathesome saluting Adebayor that time.
     
    We should have been 2-0 up. If Lingaard has just pushed it to Martial instead of blazing it away he most probably would have scored too. Young needs to be much better. He has been a bit poor and is not helping Anders at all.

    I don't think Scholes ever hit those sort of passes. He always had a little step up before hitting them. How Pogba got that power on it with it basically under his feet is beyond me.

    Scholes probably would've had a better first touch to take it away from him a bit and then dink it.

    Terrific first half. Ole has got his tactics spot on so far.

    Not sure we’ll keep a clean sheet but this is night and day from what we’ve been seeing in big games.
     
    3 attackers playing centrally.. and they are a midfielder short. And they have to attack..

    Please don't mess this up United.. It's set up for us to hit them on the counter again.

    Think we definitely need to upgrade both our fullbacks and get one central defender - but the rest of our squad is mustard.
