Over to you Lukaku/Sanchez.. Try earning your place back..
To be fair both have done ok-ish under Ole.Lukaku has got goals, especially the important one against Newcastle and Sanchez has got 2 decent assists to his name.
Nice to see the options on the bench can now influence the result.

Jones is the only one that makes me nervous, but what choice does Ole have? I doubt he’d be playing if Smalling was fit.

First 11/11 I've got in quite some time. I'm sure I'm one of many getting full marks.

We're going for it, great to see, let's hope we produce.
    My 11/11s this season:
    • 2:1 win v Leicester first game of the season
    • 2:1 win v Watford fifth game of the season
    • 1:1 draw v Wolves seventh game of the season (got all 3 subs spot on too!)
    • 1:0 defeat v Juventus 13th game of the season
    • 2:1 win v Everton 14th game of the season
    • Spurs away 30th game of the season
Been a huge gap since the last time I got 11/11 - not helped by Mourinho doing those weird selections like putting McTominay in the team. Certainly feels like Ole knows what his best team is.

Mata not on the right wing and Valencia not in the squad at all.

Wow. I am so thrilled to see a United manager finally making all the obvious selection calls before crucial games.

So easy to see the key places to improve our best eleven as well: Young, Jones and Lingard.

I am relieved to see that Lukaku has not been given a starting position; instead Rashford is preferred.
I am still worried that Lukaku will eventually replace Rashford.

And Phil Jones....He needs to sold so that whoever in charge simply cannot put him in the team.

Kind of glad Davinson Sanchez isn't playing. Feel Rashford will be able to get in behind Vertonghen and Alderweireld, with Spurs playing a high line.

Mourinho loved Fellaini from day one but never expected Van Gaal to make him a favorite. By all accounts Van Gaal wanted to shift him in Summer 2014 but he got injured which put a halt to that.

Then the second half at WBA two months into the season where he scored suddenly changed everything.
He's got his uses but a plan B and never a starter. Sadly I expected jose (a world class manager) to get rid of average players when he came and his love for fellaini pretty much confirmed my fears of how this was go for Jose at United. Hopefully Ole and next manager has more sense.

Weird to see the manager of Utd making all the right moves these days

In weeks gone by for a match like this I would have been worried about seeing a starting front 3 of Lukaku McTominay and Felliani (exaggeration). Really is a breath of fresh air. Valencia has been stealing a living for quite some time now and needs to be rapidly sent to the chopping block.

I don’t have any time for the “he’s been a wonderful servant of the club” when we’ve been lingering in the doldrums for 5 years now.

Ole loves Rashford. If Lukaku is to be replacing anyone, it'll most likely be Martial.

It is so crystal clear what comes next, right?

Confirmed Fellaini and Valencia left out - not injured.

    Sanchez not 100% fit.

I'm glad Ole watched Valencia's last "performance" with working eyes. Gave me nightmares seeing Young start against Reading as I was dreading he may have been resting Valencia for Spurs.

Valencia is now absolutely of no use, even as a squad player or for cup games.

Ironic that one of the best managers in the world, didn't have a clue about his best 11 and now we have our best 11.
Today he'd have set up not to concede. Probably would've started Darmian/ Valencia instead of Shaw, Fellaini instead of Pogba, Sanchez instead of Martial and Lukaku instead of Rashford.

Even if he doesn't become permanent manager here, I think Ole has won the respect of many United fans as a good manager.

Yep. Pep took no time in chopping off wonderful servants like Zabaleta Hart and Kolarov

Lindelof will pocket Kane but his hardest task will be keeping an eye on Jones. Tactically, other than Jones the squad looks good enough and the bench nicely balanced. I think we can run them ragged on a big pitch, so long as we go wide. Still think 0-1.
