Fellaini wanted to leave. He did that with Jose last year. I am guessing - He must have tried same trick with Ole, and Ole called him bluff.
Ole doesn’t seem like the type to do things like manipulate the squad to prove a point. He seems too genuine for that. I think he just has zero use for him, and looking at the type of football we’re trying to play, you can’t say he’s wrong either.
I said this in another thread, but Ole’s use of Felliani at Manchester United has been spot on so far.Not good enough

Our last few matches at spurs have been horrible. We couldn’t string 3 passes together last year.Lukaku on the bench..

Mourinho loved Fellaini from day one but never expected Van Gaal to make him a favorite. By all accounts Van Gaal wanted to shift him in Summer 2014 but he got injured which put a halt to that.
Then the second half at WBA two months into the season where he scored suddenly changed everything.11/11. This is our best team.
Really looking forward to this one, can't wait. It's refreshing to think for the first time in years, I expect us to play without fear and play positive, attacking football away to the top 6.
Our team is very talented and I believe they will show just what they are capable of with the shackles off.
