If we carry on looking poor even when the manager picks a familiar formation without stupid tactics then he's going to quickly come under a lot of scrutiny.

It's strange how he's got the best out of the awful players (Fellaini, Young, Valencia) but can't get anything at all out of our actual world class players.

I would make the argument that without DDG heroics in numerous games, both our famed defensive record and league position would be far less flattering. We have been very fortunate to have him here, but he has papered over some big deficiencies in defense. Hard to imagine if he goes to Madrid as he wouldn't be easy to replace.
