Martial,herrera,rashford, smalling done good. Lingard and the wing backs have been average while Lindelof is just not good enough, maybe loan back to benfica will do him good. Jimenez is available on a free i think and would be a great option above lindelof.
Good deserved lead, should finish it off in 2nd half without needing lukaku. Shaw hopefully gets some minutes.

Been pretty impressed with Darmian and the actual hunting down to get the ball back by the squad in general. We only ever seem to do that in this formation. Trying to win the ball high up the field than our usual retreat and wait for them

Much better from Herrera so far. None of the boring sideways, backwards passing. His first thought has been to the get the ball early into Martial and Rashford and that pass before the goal was inch perfect. Almost Carrick-esque.

None of those dictate the play or tempo. looking at the game tonight there is plenty of movement from the front three, with Martial showing for the ball, but when he gets it there is no one to pass forward to. We need someone to put their foot on the ball and play in those around them.

Özil on a free might be worth a punt, I'm not necessarily against it, but I don't think any one player will solve our attacking problems. Something radically needs to change in our movement and how we move the ball. It would probably help to get more bodies forward when we attack too, but that's on Mourinho.

Too many unintelligent players in the squad to be honest. I hate it when strikers make good runs and the man on the ball actually spots the run and then choose a safer option.

To make matters worse, the man on the ball then raises his hand up to apologise to the striker - this happens at least a dozen times in every game we have played in the last 2 seasons.

I think too many of our players lack the ability to commit a defender or two before playing the ball. How many of our players appear confident at passing on the run? This is frustrating with Mkhi, especially as it should be a strength of his.

My point is, you just can't be 100% sure if player will do good or bad. Bailly is young, mot many heard of him before rumours, and look at him now. Everyone was happy about DiMaria and then.... Some you get right, some don't, I still have feeling Victor will be good for us.

Ozil sees what others doesn't see. You might not see that movement with your human eyes, but Ozil will definitely spot it.
