Herrera doing well as a DM.
He is a nothing player sadly, doesnt do much wrong but not much particularly good as well.
I think it's probably because he's playing on the right than on the left, regardless of WB or FB.
Game started 45 minutes ago.Looking forward to the game.
Also I completely disagree that it's an unimportant trophy and we should focus on the PL instead. United is the biggest and most successful English club and that is because we have won more trophies then the rest - we have 66, Liverpool is second with 61. Our aim should always be to increase that distance and dominate every competition, here is the breakdown:
PL - we won it 20 times, Liverpool second with 18. Everyone else is far behind. We should always aim to win it, but we are quite comfortable here.
FA cup - we won it 12 times, Arsenal 13. Until couple years ago we were the number one club, but Arsenal overtook us. We should try to get into first spot again.
League cup - here we are lagging behind Liverpool - we won it 5 times, they did 8 times.
Europe - we are lagging behind Liverpool here too - CL (3 vs 5) EL (1 vs 3).
Other (Community shield, etc.) - we have 25 other trophies, Liverpool has 16, Arsenal 17.
I loved it when last year Liverpool's official website removed from their description the wording that they are the most successful club in England. That happened after we won the League cup. In other words, every trophy matters and we should try to be the most successful English club in every single competition.
Modern day FB need to attack more and all thatYep, he gets way too much hate for someone playing out of position and carrying tactics to a tee.
He is playing very well. Always looking for the ball and looking to play it forward.Herrera doing well as a DM.
Purists on this forum are gonna get to your throat for that comment. The reaction after Benfica match was almost like we had lost itBar the goal it hasn’t been pretty but tonight’s just about getting to the next round with our key players unscathed.
I submitted this post an hour ago, lol. Something went wrong with my phone.Game started 45 minutes ago.
btw, I agree with you, we should always go for every thophe!
The last pass from Herrera to Martial is a good proof of what you said, Rashford makes a good run inside the box but Herrera chooses Martial who is running away from the goal. Not sure why but, Rashford seems to make so many runs but, it seems none of our players are looking for it. Need to hit a few more in behind to stretch them even if they don't come off, at least we'll get some more room in between.
You risk the chance of being called a glory hunter for all that glory talksLooking forward to the game.

We lack that creative player who can spot an opening and play a killer pass. Someone who can dictate the tempo and orchestrate the play around him. Ozil?Half time. A bit meh, a bit so so. Martial is the only player that really stands out to me. Tuanzebe looks so cool at times.
Seriously Son/Sung auto correct and you're cluelessWho?
I don't remember that.I remember this summer when people were posting their preferred starting XI for us. Bailly and Lindelof were undisputed starters as centre backs.
Twas a simpler time.

It's like "safe passing" is on automatic mode for many of our players. The only moment we tried something different, we scored a goal.Irks me all the time. Brainless passing

Because it was summer, and you were at the beach.I don't remember that.
Depends on what you mean by that. He doesn’t make the most incisive runs or have the most killer balls, but he has a far better understanding than, say, Valencia of what it means to have sole responsibility for a flank. He’s comfortable being ahead of the ball, which Valencia rarely seems willing to do.Either way he offers nothing offensively.
Who doesn't want his team to be the best? You risk the chance of being called a glory hunter for all that glory talks
Yeah that or it wasn't like that. I mean I was at the bitch but the other thing.Because it was summer, and you were at the beach.
