I find it strange that Swansea isn't even trying. When managing in Norway Bob Bradley's team always ran like feck, and he was known as a great motivator and hands on guy.

Two different leagues and levels, but motivating players is pretty universal.

Commentator on my stream just said Rooney is doing really well

lol. He has been poor and lost the ball at least twice. However after that little Run and setting up Zlatan (albeit he had allot of work to do still) seemed to have kicked him on and given him a bit of a boost as he has upped his game since.

This wil be the thing there will be passengers in this game who will get swept up with the praise given by the outstanding performers and people will flop flop from week to week about who should be given a chance off the back of it. We will never learn as they will now get a start in the next run of games and be pants as usual.

Arsenal just about beat Swansea 3-2, couple weeks back at home.

If the score remains the same, it will be the first time this season they got beat by more than 2 goals.

In fairness they have been terrible today and anyone half decent team would be winning comfortably.
I know Swansea have been a lot better than this. Now it will be seeing if Bob Bradley can get them going or if we stick the knife in even more. We need to make a real statement.

Wish we could play these lot every week. Don't think they've closed us down once and can't string two passes together. Some great link up play from us though.

Better use of squad rotation today compared to normal with players being more comfortable in their position.

Can 0nly beat what's in front 0f you though & it's been a good performance. Better than to shoehorn players in that don't suit there positions.

Happened before, coaches from the Norwegian league has an incredibly poor track record in the PL. At least since Drillo

Carrick is the man among boys today. We need him cloned asap.
This. It makes no sense that we've used him as sparsely as we've done so far. He's done brilliantly almost every game he's started.

Did NBC replay the goals from the game at all during half-time? They were just wittering on about Arsenal v. Spurs the whole damn time.

Not disagreeing with him, but would he say that had Rooney/Carrick been left out?
I'm not saying he's not biased. Just that I don't think it's unprofessional. He's a fan and is allowed to have opinions like that.

Take a look at his last few tweets. He's touched upon that (Rooney, Carrick) a bit.

Stoke and Burnley were very poor teams and we still managed to mess it up so very happy and surprised to be 3-0 up,if we had won against Burnley and Stoke and at least drawn against Watford,we will be right up there,Hopefully with this squad of players there is still a lot to play for this season

Ashley Young's passing heatmap is quite funny. It is as if he has been told that his role is to prevent attacks and is applying it equally to ours as well as Swansea's.

When we drew against Stoke they were on 2 points in the relegation zone. Yeah, Swansea have been dire but at least we're scoring a few which is the first time we've done so in the league since we beat Leicester in September.
A good point. Swansea may be dire but make no mistake, we are playing very well and you have to beat these teams and take advantage. You don't challenge for the title by beating the only the top sides. You have to beat the teams below you, of which (hopefully) there are significantly more of.

Guys lets not get over excited, this is what our team should do against sides like this and its only 1 game. Swansea are offering nothing. I am not sure if it is down to our play that they seem uninterested or if its something else. I won't be the type to start threads damning the manager and the players one game then make out they are the second coming the next. The key is that our Quality players are getting the ball where they need (Via Carrick( it to weave their magic and create things. Still allot of work to do.

Yeah, I expect Swansea to come out with energy after some bollocking in the dressing room. No goals within a minute, please.

I just noticed that we've scored more league goals than Spurs so far this season, didn't expect that at all. They conceded half as many as us though.

He wouldn't say that if Rooney was on the bench.
Probably not. Would you say it, if it was your mate?

He didn't say anything about being left out in the last games though, I don't think. I don't know why people expect him to be completely objective and unbiased on his personal Twitter. Or why his opinions are invalidated by the fact that he's not. No one here is.
