Bring in Mourinho. He might only last 3 years, but they need someone with a personality and an EPL winning track record.

Not seen the post match … did he really say "he can't do anything more"?
Not on the post match that I watched. He was pretty down, bit like Rooney. Both admitted that we could not handle the aggression of Sunderland and kept giving the ball away. He basically said that having given 5 points away in the last 2 games it was going to be very hard to make top 4. He was asked if the Europa was his best chance of getting CL, he said YES, but that it would not be easy with the teams left in the competition.

If it wasn't for Martial it would have been even more embarrassing. Only other time we looked like scoring all the chances fell to Depay, might have been a little unlucky the the deflected volley to be fair to him and them tame shots were down to lack of confidence, but don't really think that's an excuse, last time he managed to get a last minute equaliser so was hoping for it again.

Worst thing is I can't chalk it up as "just one of them games", we weren't really the better team on any noticeable level. At this point I can't even say what id do to improve the performance, looks like our players are just used to playing like this now.

What a bunch of bloody wimps. Never ever thought I would say that about a United side. The fact he has given them today off to spend with their ladies. He has turned them into lovers not fighters.

That is the one thing that I think LVG has seriously misread about the PL. You can have all the technical ability in the world, use your head to play, but if you do not have the passion and fight to get stuck in when the going gets tough you end up like an Arsenal. Near the top, but never good enough to actually win. That is why United's team in 94 always brings a smile. You let them play football they played you off the park. You want to kick them, they could kick you off the park.

Problem with him yesterday was he neithe let them play or instill in them to battle. As though he thinks being Manchester United and LvG's Manchester United at that is enough to strike fear into opponents. That we strike fear into nobody and in fact that clubs down the bottom are not a pushover and will fight for their lives. Carrick/Morgan were woeful. Herrera has not been great but he needed bringing on for one of those two. Instead he brings party boy Memphis on. The one trick pony who doesn't think tracking back is one of his duties. More to the point that he brought Memphis ,can only play on the left, Depay so moved Martial, our most dangerous player, therefore killing any chance of decent attacks and threat.
