I don't think I could take it if we lost to Moyes. The shit he would come out with post-game "Maybe people will appreciate 7th was a good result when I was there."

You're right but I think Mourinho will give the PL one last chance. There's still a realistic chance to be top 4. Sure, a lot of difficult games left but the table at the moment:

    3. Liverpool - 31 games - 60 points
    4. Manchester City - 30 games - 58 points
    5. Arsenal - 29 games - 54 points
    6. Manchester United - 29 games - 54 points

Still a smidgen of a chance but we keep fecking up when teams above us drop points. It's just not realistic to think we'll finish 4th with the amount of home points we keep dropping. It's truly amazing we are where we are.

People expecting a weakened team are deluded.

Imagine we fielded a weakened team, lost the game, then all our rivals lost their games too. What an opportunity missed.

Besides, Pogba and Zlatan should be fresh and they'll definitely play. Not sure rotation of the others necessarily weakens us but I'd expect our best back 5 to play and Herrera to feature. The rest is up for grabs.

Apart from winning to get 3 points, we need to put Moyes out of his misery, by assigning his club to the Championship.
Moyes managing the bottom of the league side, is about right. How on Earth did he get the MUFC job? :wenger:

We need to give someone a hammering please let it be these poznan dancing cnuts.

    Yes. Yes Yes. Absolutely.
I want Moyes to be on the receiving end of an absolute humiliation. Sunderland will merely be caught in the crossfire.

I shouldn't....I don't even know the guy and he he has done nothing to me, personally...but I really really really dislike Moyes. It is completely against my nature to be so irrational.

    de Gea
    Valencia Bailly Rojo Shaw
    Herrera Pogba
    Lingard Mkhitaryan Martial
    Ibrahimovic

I'd like us to go with something like that.

The strange thing is that the away stats are really good, so who knows, maybe the chances are quite high after all? But I am aware of the opponents so I can still be difficult, but probably easier than if it were a home game. Maybe they'll feel less pressure now when it's looks a bit bleak? Just look at the home versus away table:

Hull and Burnley have the two worst away records, but both managed to draw at Old Trafford in the league.

Us and city seem incredibly similar looking at those tables.

Can't believe we've picked up exactly 27 points both home and Away.

WBA have not been able to keep a clean sheet all season.
I think their last clean sheet was in August last year.
They come to OT and easily get a clean sheet.

I am actually optimistic about this game. Only because we aren't playing at home but that's it.

It's shocking that we should be saying this, but I agree.
Thank God we are not playing at OT, otherwise, I'd be thinking, "park the bus, 25 shots on goal, 0 goals, 0-0".

    What? We drew 1-1.

This is all set to be absolutely the worst game of the season.

It was 0-0, barely a week ago.
:lol:I confused it for Everton. Our games are so poor and forgettable and usually very frustrating for me I forget about them after a few days.

Just out of curiosity didn't our best run of form consist of a midfield of Carrick,Herrera and Pogba ?

So with that in mind a team I'd like to see is

    ---------------------De Gea-------------------
    -----Valencia---Bailly----Rojo----Shaw------
    --------------------Carrick--------------------
    ----------Herrera----------Pogba---------
    --Micky------------Zlatan---------Martial-------

I think that's the strongest team we could play and still have Rashford and Lingard and even Fellaini to bring on if needed to change something

I think we'll hammer them in terms of possession and create loads of chances, but Pickford will look like prime Schmeichel and we'll miss a few sitters. I can't see them scoring so 0-2 sounds about right to me.

I just hope Mkhi and Martial start and play well enough to warrant them starting in Anderlecht as well. It's no surprise we arent scoring goals when we're regularly benching our most creative, threatening players due to them having an off-day.

Surprised the score prediction thing doesn't go above 5 goals - i wanted to predict 1-7 - this is going to be the one when all those missed chances go in...

    Isn't it ?

We should win this game comfortably but i predict a Tight game, a draw or win by odd goal either way.
You know these sunderland players will be right up for it too.

    Hope we seee carrick-pogba-herrera midfield.

    Sunderland team news
On Wearside, David Moyes is being his usual negative self. However, he has managed to slip some news on Anichebe in with the usual doom and gloom.

Mourinho says Rooney and Young will miss Sunday's game through injury while long-term absentees Mata, Smalling and Jones remain unavailable.

I predict 1-1. As usual they won't give their best for the first 65 minutes, then they will try hoof ball tactics with "The Tree" next to Zlatan.

    Mourinho on Lingard
I think he is a good player already. Because of his age and because of his happiness in the work I think he has conditions to be even better. English, made in the academy, it is very important that players are made at home.

So it is a very important contract and I congratulate him.

    Mourinho on injuries
“Rooney is not available. Young is injured and there is no more news, because with Mata, Smalling and Jones you already know we are speaking about old injuries.”

    14:07
    Mourinho on David Moyes
“ I have sympathy with every manager that is fighting hard to reach their objectives. Everyone is a good professional, everyone gives everything and fights all season. Some of us, we are sacked in the middle of the season. It is difficult for everyone, so of course I have sympathy.”

    Mourinho on home form
“ I still think in spite of the bad results we are strong at home. Why? Because we lost only one game and we know why we lost that, because strange things happened during it. One defeat at home all in competitions and what makes me think we are strong is the way opponents play against us.

    GettyImages-663077222.jpg

It’s impossible for us to score on the counterattack. We are not strong enough because we are not winning, we are not good enough to score the goals that we should. We are giving the opponents’ goalkeeper a chance to be so many time the MOM and I repeat the same that I told in the last match, it’s not a critic, but many many decisions that punished us during the whole season.”

    14:12
    Mourinho in positive mood
“Looking to the next season it’s a good feeling to know that we don’t lose many matches and had a fantastic run of 20 unbeaten matches. I prefer to look at ten matches, ten draws. You have something that is not easy to have, You are solid mentally, hard to beat and show fight and resilience. But the points are the reality.”
