The genius is at it again.

Phil Neville: "It looks like De Gea has been dropped to me."
He did say the press conference was yesterday. It was on Friday.

Mourinho didn’t confirm Mata was injured at his Friday press conference - having undergone surgery on the Thursday. He doesn’t always give full injury updates.

and so it begins, rest of the season and all summer of will he go will he stay, FFS Nevillie you are a pratt.

    Oh dear again.

    POGBA STRIKES WOODWORK AGAIN!
I mentioned Paul Pogba hitting the woodwork too many times this term and he's just struck a post with a venomous drive in practice. Let's hope he's got that out of the way now!

    Good.
Shaw has done very little in the 2.75 seasons he has played for us.
If I had my way, I'd have a camera fixed on him permanently throughout the game - player cam!
Many fans complained about Anderson being a wage thief - but what about Shaw? He has done less than Anderson and fans want him to escape the wrath of the manager?

Jose is not here to keep us in 6th place. He is here to improve us and push us into 1st place and if that means that means Shaw (and other poor performers) need to be told to work harder (SHOCK HORROR!), then so be it.

In saying all of the above, Shaw is not the reason we are in 6th place. That honour belongs to our dreadful attackers who can't consistently finish chances and put the entire burden of goal scoring on Ibra. If our current set of attackers (particularly Martial and Miki) continue playing as they currently are, I'd be I looking to get a good price for them in the Summer. If we are going to win the title next season, we simply can't afford to have deadwood on our books and right now (apart from Rooney) Martial, Miki are the very definition of deadwood, weighing us down. I would play these 2 in every game, until the end of the season, to give them adequate opportunity to prove their worth. If they fail, then they should be told that they are free to leave.
I heard the other day that he lives with 3 of his mates he went to school with. That to me could be a factor in his fitness and application.

Leaving De Gea out is a pretty clear sign that priorities have switched. We're going all out for the EL.

    Well that doesn't work.
Because Sergio will be in goal in our next EL game. And if necessary, DDG could play today and in the EL game.
And what about resting Pog/Ibra? If anybody need resting, it's these 2.

    Oh dear.

Ibrahimovic shows teammates how it's done
Not watched all of United’s shooting practise in the warm up but Ibrahimovic was the man laying balls off to his colleagues and about six missed on the trot so the Swede decided to abandon that role and smashed one in past Joel Pereira.

    Business as usual.

Moyes confidence will skyrocket after seeing that his biggest signing is today's team captain.

We should be able to field 7 men and beat this lot today but what year was it they had like the worst team in Premier League history and we drew 0-0 at home with them, 2005? That was depressing.

Jaysus this place is a mess and we haven't even started yet. That team should be good enough to beat fecking Sunderland. If it doesn't then... eh.. then I'll moan too.

You could put 3 random catfards in the United line up and you'd still batter this load of shite!

I wonder how Sunderland players would feel if they read that. :D

You guys are in brilliant form....keep it up.

    Oh dear.

I was at the game on Tuesday and this happened then as well, Ibra laying the balls off for the others. Rashford missed basically every one.

Resting DDG and Valencia for EL match 4 days later.

I think it's finally dawned on Ibra - our attackers are absolutely useless and all the responsibility to score, is on his shoulders.

Regarding De Gea, Mourinho just said Romero will start against Anderlecht, so… no. And Valencia, rested against both Everton and Sunderland, just no, unfortunately he must be injured.

Today is the day for all the excuses and nonsense to stop. We need to put three or four past an utterly dreadful team.

Come on United give us a break in this one!

Phil Neville was on united coaching staff under Moyes, It Fe ks up with my brain everytime what we did to ourselves.

Going head on into skirmishes with journalists, managers, even his own players wasn't enough for Jose so now he's thrown down the gauntlet to Lady Luck by choosing Fellaini to start as our captain. We're doomed.

Felli to score a hat trick today and then get sent off:drool:

Our captain choices since SAF left always seems to be the longest serving player on the pitch. So Fellaini gets it by default, can't really count Lingard.

    FFS get Mikhi/Martial on.

    Just getting myself ready.

M.E.N. or the mole on here are not happy and it isn't me.

    13:26
    Two players hard done by?
Fellaini has got it by virtue of being the longest-serving first-team player. Herrera should be the future captain.

Fellaini is now leading the players out. Kick-off imminent.
