If it makes Shaw a better professional we shouldn't care.I bet Jose told him exactly what to do for those 6 days...
Some strange man management I must say.
Hope Mourinho didn't have a spat with De Gea. He hinted at Romero starting the Anderlecht game as well.
Leaving De Gea out is a pretty clear sign that priorities have switched. We're going all out for the EL.
Romero is playing all Europa League games so I would expect him to play.Hope Mourinho didn't have a spat with De Gea. He hinted at Romero starting the Anderlecht game as well.
Exactly what I was thinking. Strange that Ibra and Pogba aren't benched as well though.Leaving De Gea out is a pretty clear sign that priorities have switched. We're going all out for the EL.
Yeah well...don't scare me like that.I think the poster was hinting at this De Gea saga with Madrid.
UNITED SIDE ANNOUNCED
United: Romero; Darmian, Bailly, Rojo, Shaw; Fellaini (c), Herrera; Lingard, Pogba, Mkhitaryan; Ibrahimovic. Subs: J. Pereira, Blind, Fosu-Mensah, Tuanzebe, Carrick, Martial, Rashford.
"That is not a captains touch from Fellaini"Every touch he makes will be amplified now

Yes he's had talks
Perhaps. I don't fancy Fellaini but it gets tiring.Alienating himself from the caf maybe, the fans in the stands opinions a wildly different to the ones shared on here.
De Gea being the best, maybe he shouldn't, now that Europa League is almost our only chance of playing Champions League football?Romero always starts the Europa League games.
Exactly.Yeah, they also get behind the likes of Lingard a player who may not be world class, but is United through and through and gives his all.
How so? If all the fans shared your views, we would be in trouble.Nice job from Mourinho further alienating himself from the fans.
Agree.Yep. The fans in the stands are fully behind Jose thank god.
We don't need this discussion today as it's been had already, but I really hope Shaw has a good game and can get some football now. My guess is he must feel a bit of pressure.Of course I wouldn't care, but the treatment towards players like Martial, Mkhitaryan and now Shaw has to be classed as strange.
Shaw was a great player before, so I won't be crediting Jose if Shaw expectedly starts playing well again.
Completely agree.Yeah, they also get behind the likes of Lingard a player who may not be world class, but is United through and through and gives his all.
Martial sub and Lingard starting is dog shite. Yes Martial was poor last game he played but Lingard in the Everton game was shite as normal.

It's the hyperbole that makes me laugh. People behave as if the world is ending! The match day thread living up to the usual embarrassing standards I see
Oh dear .Here we goThe genius is at it again.

Phil Neville: "It looks like De Gea has been dropped to me."
He did say the press conference was yesterday. It was on Friday.
Mourinho didn’t confirm Mata was injured at his Friday press conference - having undergone surgery on the Thursday. He doesn’t always give full injury updates.
With his new wage Lingard better start every games played by United from the U14 to the U79.
