I think the big change came when we were accused of being boring. At this point, we were getting 0-0, 1-0 (wins). We had statistically the best defence.
LVG then asked his players to play more attacking football. When this happened, we did start creating many chances, but we also conceded many chances (and goals).

If LVG goes back to his old style, I think we can start climbing the table. It will be boring, though...just as it was a few months back.
In a nutshell:
1, we can attack (and create many chances)
2, we can defend (and concede few goals)
3, but we cannot do both.
