Considering we'll need to play Lindelof against Basel, hopefully we can give him some minutes for the last 15/20 if we're 2 or 3 up.
That would be good but he should be match fit considering he has just had two matches with Sweden. Smalling on the other hand hasn't had a minute since the Madrid matchConsidering we'll need to play Lindelof against Basel, hopefully we can give him some minutes for the last 15/20 if we're 2 or 3 up.
It's a good feeling sometimes, to have a team full of big bastards. One thing I'm confident about is not being physically bullied.
Have you been working out then? One thing I'm confident about is not being physically bullied.

Why?

That would imply changing the system to 4-3-3, Mourinho wouldn't feature those players like that.I think Mourinho could play Herrera on Saturday.... Lineup:-
----------------- De Gea -------------------
Valencia-------Jones---Bailly-------Blind
------------Herrera----------Matic---------
Mkhitaryan-------- Pogba----------Rashford
------------------ Lukaku------------------
This could be the team Mourinho plays against Stoke, and I think it would be good enough to win 3-1......
Got it. ThanksBailly and Jones are suspended, Rojo is definitely out. That leaves Smalling plus one. Which is most likely going to be Lindelöf.
More likely, Young. Although, I cannot see the manager resting Valencia in our first few Champions League's games.I'm expecting Valencia to be rested for a few of the Champions League games and Lindelof will get a chance at right back.
Can't see us keeping a clean sheet.
Same team as the opening two games. Wouldn't surprise me if he puts Lingard in for Mata though to offer some width. Mata seems to always struggle here and we have been quite narrow this season which could play into Stoke's hands.
That one time vs West Brom when he made a run and crossed the ball on the half volley to Zlatan for the openerWhen has Lingard ever provided width?
Every reason to be worried, we havent won there for 3 years. Need to break the jinx. They are strong at home and we need to play really well to beat them.Looking at this we should easily brush these aside.
But for some reason I am worried.
No logic to it at all.
You can't ignore the fact that we won't be going into this game with the same momentum. The international break has ruined it. Its easy to say that we should be keeping clean sheets against teams like stoke but Stoke away aint an easy game regardless of circumstances. Just check out the scorelines of the same fixture for past years and it will give you some idea about what I am talking about. They've scored 2 goals in 3 league games this season. Maybe they do score but can't see how based on their lack of scoring and the fact that we haven't conceded yet in the league that someone could say "can't see us keeping a clean sheet against Stoke".

No strikers on the bench?Yes that would not be surprising, adding Herrera over Mata for a more combative midfield. I don't like Mkhi on the right, though. If we do it, would like to see both Rashford and Martial.
The last time Man Utd won away at Stoke, Sir Alex Ferguson was the United manager.

Ugh, Stoke fans and their 'rivalry'.Never confident going there. They're always well up for it, especially considering we're their main rivals or something.
