We are still missing that balance from the wings. Its clear why Mourinho needs another transfer window to complete the squad.

Mkhitaryan and Rashford just dont provide enough service for the strikers. Hopefully Luke Shaw comes back and gives us that attack left back we are so sorely missing.

We have to play 4-3-3 against this Stoke team in Stoke. If we were at home, we would drop Herrera and move Mickey T into the 10. But at home this stoke team are a tough nut to crack.

Doing well. Their goal was a sucker. Hopefully we can get a second.

Things we already know surfacing again - need left back and wide players. Our left back is shite and Mkhi drifts centrally leaving our right side non existent. Thankfully we managed to get that equaliser before half time. We need to take out one of our midfielders and put in Martial second half.

Been a poor half. Darmian has been very disappointing. Hope Blind might come on as he has played very well. Rashford has been the bright spark and the only one creating anything. Apart from that things don't look that good. We need to step up in second half. Want Blind and Mata on quick for Darmian and Herrera. Then with 20 minutes left if we don't have the lead put on Martial as well.

Phil didn't attack the space and cover what's in front of him that is why. Same defending as Zouma did on the other end that also resulted in an own goal is good defending while Jones was static.

Bailly has been a bit of liability from day 1. Brilliant defending when the ball is in front off him and great athletically but he is erratic in his play and loses his concentration a lot. It's only one goal conceded so it's no biggie but he made lots of these mistakes last season too. Needs to get his head screwed on and he will be superb.

You are right. 4-3-3 is a terrible formation for us. But we need bodies in midfield because Stoke look dangerous in attack as well. 4-2-3-1 is risky at the moment.

Jones should have definitely tried to block the cross, as opposed to blocking the cut back.

He's backpassing alot, sadly. He sometimes makes excellent long throughs but most of times backpass back to the defense while lets Stoke easily regroup and organize themselves defensively. I still love him but he's better to be used in big games. We need players moving the ball much faster forward today.
