"You'll be surprised at what young players can do when you give them a chance"
James has earned it from the beginning of pre season. He's much more ready as a 21 yr old. Gomes, Chong and Greenwood are teenagers

I was thinking the same thing. He doesn’t shy away from taking shots when he has a good look and plays so well on the left.Right, at what point do we start to think Daniel James could be the real thing, and not a keen understudy?
For me the first signing to create genuine buzz product in 6 long years. He brings what I expected Sanchez to bring, but failed to.
Nah the white text was always there. The edit was for #GollumOut

Forgetting Rashford's first 4 games?James may get to where we expected Rashford to be much faster.
Watch the moaners completely disappear from the thread, only to reappear if Southampton equalise.
I hope it is. That's exactly the style of football we need to be going for.little worried by the "playing it out of defence" tactic. hope that's not the plan in all games...
No end product. Just a speed merchant.I thought the kid was average and not United quality.
Uses his intelligenceWhile Mata is physically slow he is actually one of our quicker ball movers. He recognizes his pace and uses the ball to make up for it where he can. He is one of the few players I think who understands urgency and tempo in our squad.
Once he puts in a long stretch of performances worthy of “the real thing” and not a few good moments over his first four games.
Good goal, and I like the lad and he offers a great attitude with pace. But he is extremely inconsistent in games and very raw.
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves because of the goal. Is last week a distance memory with his failed chance and some poor decision making across the match?
This place sometimes. I like the lad, want him to continue to play, but he’s a bit far off “the real deal” whatever that means.
It’s Southampton so pipe down. We will need more technical ability against top 6.Stick that up your arse you blind technical worshipping mongrels.
Honest to god this kid is becoming my favourite player. 15 million was an absolute steal.

Just looks much more clinical. Very early days of course.Forgetting Rashford's first 4 games?
not sure the likes of Young are good enough... top teams will nick it off usI hope it is. That's exactly the style of football we need to be going for.
