I think it's pretty much a guarantee that most of the back-line stay in, but Young will probably start over Valencia. With this being an away game, I expect 433 so probably a midfield of Matic, Pogba, and Fellaini. Rashford will be dropped, most likely in favour of Lukaku who at least got an all-important assist on Tuesday night:
de Gea
Young Smalling Jones Shaw
Fellaini Matic Pogba
Lingard Lukaku Martial
---
Romero; Valencia, Bailly; Herrera, Fred, Mata; Rashford
Herrera has been left out entirely for the last two, but I think that was more to do with the thinking that they were two easy home games and we didn't need him (not that they turned out to be that). So, I expect him to make the bench at the weekend. If Sanchez is fully fit he'll be there too, however, maybe at the expense of Fred or Herrera if need be. On the plus side, albeit requiring a bit of heroics from Dave, our defence seems to be a little better after two clean sheets in a row for what feels like the first time this season. Southampton is absolute pants offensively so we really, really should not be conceding in this game. That should give us the platform José likes of only needing to score once to win...
Hopefully, we can take these baby-steps and go into the Arsenal game on the back of three clean sheets and a couple of victories in a row. We shouldn't be fearing Arsenal at Old Trafford, but that is what it has come to. The game after this will be one of the few times in recent history that Arsenal will fancy beating us at OT.
Regardless, should really be winning this one at least 0-2 in a comfortable affair.
