He's not the only problem. We've been this way for years, and it baffles me that people continuously lay the blame almost exclusively on the manager. Every player we sign turns out to be shit, every manager fails, and we're performing so far below even the most reasonable expectations that it's frankly comical. He's quite clearly an intelligent player. What he lacks more often than not is compusure and technique. That's got nothing to do with intelligence. Getting into positions is about being clever. Shanking a shot is about consistency/ability.

It's fairly ironic to see certain posters comment on another human being's intelligence.

I think people are referring to his intelligence on the pitch... they dont know him personally so i doubt they think he stupid.

He also gave away the free kick and blasted a ball out of the stadium. He has two assists (first one required a lot of luck) but that doesnt make him a top talent or top player. Im not in the ''sell Rashford camp'' but earlier discussion about Rashford vs Martial has clearly been decided by Martial.

He is a local player coming from the youth academy and he deserves a place in the squad but will he ever be a world class forward? I doubt it...
